@@dedskin1 not sure what you are doing wrong but not experiencing this on my end… and many other creators have also said the quality is great

@@Kaiu24 maybe a glitch , i looked at other videos no problem except problem 720p over USB , no go . Some even say its 1080p obviously blind , but i dont trust anyone these days , i even contacted a company and they told me i need HDMI , obviously i dont , but with USB its 720p , so i guess i need HDMI after all . It has crashed blacks also about 2EV crushed , didn't look at DXO mark , now i did there is no E10 , i guess they wait for them to sell then they will release the findings .But im not blind so i see it .

@@dedskin1 usb is 720p for definite but its only noticeable when in full screen. I have the tutorial for using hdmi on my channel too and through hdmi capture card you can definitely get the full 1080p or even 4k output.

@@thetimekeeper9230 then dont turn on log. All your other settings can remain the same. You can still record in apple pro res 422 but in the settings in black magic cam have the colour space changed to rec 709

@@all4christ1 which App are you referring to? Have you put the camera into Manual Video mode?

@@Kaiu24 the EOS web utility app. When i select the live video option, it cleans the HDMI but it doesn’t translate to OBS.

@@all4christ1 please ensure you watch the entire video, it explains that this camera does not support clean hdmi and this will show you every step on how to achieve a false clean hdmi. Note this will mean auto focus must be turned off manually from the camera

Yes you can but it will give you an additional 1.5x crop so be closer to a 36-157mm

Yes, thats more to do with the phone than the charger. Standby mode works even if you have the phone plugged in via cable.

I would not say this works like a vnd to be honest. I would get a dedicated filter ti achieve the effect you want

You can have a look at the new PolarPro Peter McKinnon filters that are VND + Ploariser. They do one version with a mist and another without mist so you can choose to have that or not. Alternatively, you can try K&F concept Nano X Pro series filters that do that combo too and are very good if you dont want to spend as much. In terms of size, get one for your largest lens and get a step up ring to adapt it to your smaller lens (if required)

@@primebeatz108 the EOS D6 is quite an old camera so only the webcam utility might work with it. You wont be able to use it with a capture card. I’m not really sure what could be causing the Zoom on it though. Its most likely a limitation of the camera. Make sure the camera is in video mode

@@rodriguetoglo Well at the moment I use sony because it suits my needs. So I will recommend Sony camera’s as it relates to my content. Doesnt mean I dont know about other camera brands. I’ve extensively used Canon in the past and still think they are amazing cameras. So lets keep unsolicited opinions to ourselves.being loyal to one brand doesnt mean I have no knowledge about the others. You expect me to buy sony canon lumix fuji and spend money on gear I wont end up using regularly?

@@LS-is5ob aaah I see well. It depends really. If filming a long form video, you can film horizontal and crop in to make vertical segments, just make sure you get framing right. But I film a lot of dedicated reels and shorts so filming the videos vertically is easier. No need to reframe. Theres no right answer tbh
