Hi, I am a 718 GT4 in Crayon. Used as designed, on road and track. Maintained by @porschecentrumgelderland. Has @manthey_racing bits.

Back to the ring after 3 years for a full trackday. I had to start slow and relearn the track again. I am still learning the pace of all the locals and experienced folks, but it wasn't too bad to my feeling.
First time out with the Manthey Performance Kit on the GT4. The suspension and aero tricks are really something. I cannot wait to take this out to other tracks like Zandvoort and Assen.
Oh, and my GoPro died at the end.

Onboard: Porsche 718 GT4 PDK - Bilster Berg Drive Resort - DFTrackdays

Second time at the Bilster Berg Drive Resort. This track is an absolute rollercoaster. I managed to improve my pace from last year. Best lap on this day was 1:56.37 (no onboard) and this video has a 1:56.44. The optimal of this session was a 1:55.62, so still room to improve my lines and overall performance. We had some rain showers, so varying track conditions.

First time at the Bilster Berg Drive Resort. This track is an absolute rollercoaster. I had to lean the track from zero and managed to squeeze out a decent pace. Had some issues with GPS coverage and the Porsche Track Precision app with CarPlay. The M240i's on slicks are no match to my worn Cup 2's and lack of full confidence. Unsure why I postponed going here for so long... have to go back som...

Onboard in the Porsche 718 GT4 PDK at a DFTrackdays session at CM.com Circuit Zandvoort in May. Fastest lap of the day with a 1:54.1 and a top speed of 231km/h. On video it looks extremely calm and quiet and I do try to not overwork the Cup 2's too much in the corners indeed. Car is stock except the usual Manthey suspension bits, brake pads and lines.

Onboard in the Porsche 718 GT4 PDK at a DFTrackdays session at Circuit Meppen earlier this year in May. Just a random piece of footage of me navigating around the small and technical track at Meppen. The top speed is only 167km/h versus 230km/h at Zandvoort. My best lap was 1:14.8 this day. Car is stock except the usual Manthey suspension bits, brake pads and lines.

Found myself behind the KTM X-Box at the DFTrackdays/Skylimit Events Trackday at Circuit Zolder. Pace was around 1:52's. I managed a 1:48 later on a clear lap. Quick lap (1m15) on 5-year-old Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 N0 tires. Car is 100% stock 2016 Porsche 981 Cayman GT4 with OEM alignment (around -1.5 degrees of camber all round and stock toe). How would you describe suspension changes
Firmer, stable platform. Much better chassis control. More grip. Better tire wear.

@@ebcars19 I have not driven a GT4RS but based on what I read, I believe the MR 3-way suspension with external reservoirs and low+hi-speed has way better damping than the GT4RS OEM suspension. Maybe @mgcharoudin can chime in?
MR dampers on GT4 makes the chassis platform more stable and predictable than stock 4RS at a course such as N’ring,as has been said. All GT car need a proper alignment anyway. 4RS can of course be modified with aftermarket coilovers as well and then you have all the power and all the grip in one package. MR dampers for 4RS are 4-way adjustable for H/L Bump and H/L rebound and hold pressure with an external reservoir. Other kits are available- e.g. SSR/KW 3-way, Ohlins TTX and Dundon/MCS 3-way

Nice ! Same setup for mine. I recommend to you the nankang’s tires for the track, it’s faster and better than the lichelin but be carefull with the noise on the road..first test for me with a trackday and go/ return by the road and it was ugly and too noisy..to confirm with more kilometers...

Mooie beelden hoor! Gaaf hoe zo'n turbo mx-5 bijna alles eruit rijdt. Hij is niet alleen snel, je rijdt ook erg netjes. Het is dat de Mclaren een bak meer vermogen had, anders had hij geen schijn van kans.
