Just your average DIY'er, tinkerer, creator, collector. I dig old toys, car models, and cars in general. Also have a romance with photography, the electric guitar and my guitar heros. This channel will be a mixed bag of projects and issues that I tackle, product reviews, perhaps some general commentary. Also a full blown carnivore since 10/16/2023. Thanks for stopping by!
VIKING 12V Digital Battery and System Tester
Was having some long term issues with the battery in my truck. So while I was diagnosing the issue, I figured it was a good time to put together this clip of the VIKING 12V Digital Battery and System Tester.

I Failed The Carnivore Diet! #carnivore #carnivorediet

Ok, I really didn't fail the diet, but I did put this diet through a test this past weekend. Also noticing quite a bit of negative comments and attacks recently on some carnivore channels that I follow. Dogma and labeling at it's finest! (Or not so finest) Some folks just can't keep their opinions and judgements to themselves. They are all so pure and perfect. As always, thanks for watching! Do...

Day 147 of being full blown carnivore! A little chat regarding the fiber being a necessity of our diet. Hi Joe what polisher are you using where did you get the pads.
@@jasonaznoff1887 here’s the Amazon link. Ginour Polisher, 900W 6-inch... www.amazon.com/dp/B07KHP9BW9?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
@@joesgarageandotherstuff thank you
I’m removing those drawer lock clips in the next 30 seconds now that I know that’s an option 😂
Maybe i missed it how do you protect the wheels? Wax or ceramic coating?
I just coated them with wax.
@@joesgarageandotherstuff Thanks for the reply, great video
Bit anal !!!
U could also use rubber grommets that fit right
Thanks joe!
You're welcome!
Excellent video. That’s a very nice cart. I like the lockable top area with slots for pry bars, breaker bars, etc. Trying to decide between this service cart and the 42 inch cabinet. I’m a DIYer, not a pro, but I do have a variety of tools that need some organization.
Nice set !!
the most important part is the moving over the Steelers magnets or stickers. nice set up so far tho
The “wrenchette” is for freeing a stuck garbage disposal. The shaft for the blades is accessible by an Allen key in the underside of the disposal
I’ve been trying to reassemble the same model wrench for the past two hours while watching my 2 year old daughter. It’s been a stressful day. Had no idea the tool was special for the job. I was trying with feeler gauges
I speculate the video. I was looking at this exact set and now will comfortably buy them. Regarding 23mm; I’ve done so much work on my 4Runner and I’ve never seen any bolt at 23mm. 24 yes; but not 23mm. So don’t worry about that one.
Speak up nobody can hear you
I've noticed this with other YT tool box tour owners..... why do you throw / drop your tools back into place??? Can't you just place them back into position? Whats with the casual throw or toss ??
@@stefanczechorskidds8435 🤷♂️
If you lose a tool down one of the holes you can get it by removing the drawers.
Ernst actually makes the plier organizer and socket trays for tekton if any one wandering, depending on were you buy them the ernst are usually a little cheaper and they offer almost every color were as tekton at least now just offer red/black, both great companys and products
I think it’s the same for the triangle shaped wrench organizers too. Might be one or two companies actually manufacturing the items, and offering the option of company branding.
@@joesgarageandotherstuff yes its ernst mnfg. I make them.Great video
Nice buy for $20. I picked up a Dremal scroll saw yesterday for $10😊 Thanks for sharing Have a great day
@6:20 Where did you get that green tray? Thanks!

Hey Joe, I like your tool cart. I got mine in May along with a 52inch Husky Toolbox and I’m loving them both. Good job on the video.
Man hopefully everything gets back in line for you. long stretch of bad luck.
@@joshmiller8663 thanks a lot. Sometime we just have to roll with the punches.
Great video, im 2 weeks in, videos like this help a lot, thanks. Also im gen x do my own mechanic work and play disc golf, so im sticking around, subbed.
Well,I’ll tell you this;nothing is better por car carpet or car seats than a HOOVER CARPET CLEANER,or other brand of your preference I assure you that you will be happy and will have a tool for three quality uses, carpet & carseats and home carpet, stairs and RUGS120-150 Dlls.depending the brand and YOU WILL LOVE IT,STEAMERS just helps to loosen dirt, stains but you need the suction of the carpet cleaner you will have excellent results & be happy for years to come and will save time and money
So happy for you! Stay on this healing journey! You will ne feeling and looking fantastic into old age,!
I love the sensation of my internal happiness that is coming back because of carnivore. ❤ And absence of heart burn.
Nice video. Im 6'1 and eating 1 - 1.5 sticks butter per day. 189g protein. Make a video for us, beginning to end on how to make pemmican using cooked ground beef and a food dehydrator. Thanks!
Good vid, one tip: If you bend the fingers on the glove holder it will hold the glove box much more securely and save you headaches pulling gloves out
I just purchased this as well from Harbor Freight and it's kind of disappointing because it only runs for about 3 to 5 minutes and then you have to let it heat up again. And then like you said that the cap wouldn't come off until it's cooled down.
Finally, a video where someone uses it on fabric seats; this was very helpful, thank you.
I saw a couple I think their names are steph and Stephen That eat nothing but chuck roll steaks they get at either Sam's or Costco for $4.19 a lb and buy by the case to eat daily with their boiled eggs. They've been doing this for 10 months and are not tired of it yet.
I was away for 4 days and I ate everything I wanted or should I say needed and I gained 1 lbs. 2 days later I lost 3 lbs and mentally I was feeling better. Sometimes we just need to be human. Three months and 28lbs down. I had to stop watching all of the videos as they are contradictory. Thanks for being honest...I am now craving a cucumber salad😊
Thank you for sharing!
Hollow punch would probably good for cutting holes for screwdrivers pry bars etc, or a small copper tube you sand an edge onto
Try McGuire's upholstery cleaner on your truck. It's made for cars and works like a charm on the older vehicles. A little goes a LONG way, so don't overspray it or you'll be rinsing it for ages.
Carnivore regime may be better described, in-extenso, as a "Double Immune System Minimal Toxin Exposure, Minimal Collateral Murder Biologically Appropriate Pharma-free Medical intervention Resolution Optimal Health Regime". Big Pharma; go shed a tiny tear and after a tantrum just continue to predate on the abundant foolish brainwashed sugar-addicted sheeple. Ninth year and absolutely vindicates my first hand opinion that I am robustly correct; and CONTINUE to improve. Yes, I very occasionally have a mini "cheat" mostly from unavoidable and rare social pressures and can state I am increasingly significantly glycemic resistant as much lesser reaction but invariably reinforces staying on the correct path. Pain is a good feedback mechanism that should never be ignored and primarily is an immobilization defence strategy of the human organism host; never casually shut off the pain signal with Pharma and the "Pill for an Ill". Rule of thumb is "If it did not have a pulse don't eat it. " Great to see your progress; not just physical health improvement but the obvious neurological changes. Stick with it......
I’m a carnivore 6 days a week and every Saturday I have a drink or two. That’s my routine and it works for me.
We are all individuals with different genetics. Lets just get healthier and try to cut out the chemicals and the things that cause us issues individually. Could be any variety of food groups. See what works and what doesn't.
I am with Joe. The medical prescribed diet does not work. I have lost 100 pounds since last year on keto. I still have 40 pounds left to lose. Keto/carnivore works great. The doctors need to get with the program 🎉
Thanks a ton for this, Joe. The clear on my sawblades was peeling and they looked faded. Using your techniques, they look brand new. My car is a ‘93 40th, and the wheels really pop with the new set of Ruby Red centers.
The reversible ones are #1 best seller on Amazon right now. It sounds like the ratcheting mechanism is tight, what are your thoughts?
I bought this 6 months ago but opened it today. I agree with you, it’s a fail. I have 55+ years in pro audio. I should have known better, unfortunately I allowed the low price to lure me in. It’s too late to return now. Mark this up as another lesson learned. Buy brand names like Shure, A-T, Sennheiser and now DJI. All produce good quality audio. I coined the term “The intelligent word deserves intelligible audio.” Unfortunately cheaped out looking to cut corners.
Thanks for all the details. Whats the biggest coupon anyone seen on these?
The correct fever/cold saying is "Prolong Fast". It also applies to cancer diagnosis (followed by strict carnivore). I've just resumed eating recently after a 7 day fast and a chest infection; second illness in 8 years carnivore-omad. Still improving and will never entertain visiting a doctor; they are pharma salepeople only. Your sinus infection is likely a detox issue you could have accelerated by fasting and if lot of fluid issues then hard dry fasting. (I historically did a 40 day fast with last 8 days hard dry) Eating bread is last thing you should do while ill. You may take many months to detox from a standard "Children's Birthday Party Factory Food Ping diet". As you rightly say the weight loss of surplus is inevitable and merely a side-effect and not the main virtue of the regime. No way could I personally eat more than once a day. Stick with it but be forewarned you will outlive many.
Glad you are feeling better. Sinus infections are miserable.
Nice Video! I inherited one exactly like yours. It even has the little detent on the top marked "oil". Sadly my ball and spring are missing.
Impressed with your solo dismount skills from the truck bed. I was sweating getting my 72 inch to the house, but after getting a couple of my strongest friends and a bit of perseverance it's now safe and sound in my garage. Green too!
Thank you for sharing your journey. I am looking forward to celebrating with your recovery and victories! have known since the 70's this is the best food plan for me. I don't think it is the only healthy way to eat for everyone. Why do humans have to insist of knowing what is right for everyone. I am so grateful to finally, currently being on my right path in feeding my body what fuels it best one day at a time. ❤
That Snap-On F-70N is older than you think! They were produced from 1937-46, and there should be a date code in between the ON and OFF markings on the selector switch that you can look up to find the precise year. I just restored one from 1944 today - still going strong after 80 years!
8 months carnivore here. 120+kg to 72kg, hypertension, prediabetes, depression, obesity, arthritis, GERD, sleep apnea, psoriasis, all resolved. Happier and healthier than I've been in 20 years. Cheesecake was always my favourite desert, now I make it with monkfruit, zero sugar, low carb. Don't have it too often but for things like birthdays and the holidays it fills the desert gap without going completely off the deep end.
