This song sounds hopeful and upbeat in a sort of ironic way, because at the end we find out that Trixie is actually spreading further rather than having been contained. Terrifying.

Such a beautiful song, so evocative. It's (sorry) CRAZY to imagine that this was recorded for a movie. A perfect tune.

im not exactly sure why, but the sound of a facility alarm in an apocalypse would just shake me to my core. i guess its just the fact that something that is dead, that is abandoned and surrounded by abandoned and decaying buildings just coming alive as it was before the end.

As I was watching, I had a flashback to myself at about age 7 sitting on those gold railings they had in the queue and looking up at the screen as those trailers flashed by. At the time when this ride first opened the only movie that I recognized was Mary Poppins, but since then I've seen almost all of them. I do remember being shocked by the Alien one as it was so loud & scary. Miss this ride so much.

I heard rumors that these trailers were originally shown at the ride via a laserdisc that looped constantly (Much like another video shown at Space Mountain, where the laserdisc was actually located after it was decommissioned; Captain EO was also shown via laserdisc at some point, and it was located as well.) Does anyone know where the disc is today, if it even exists?

The Indiana Jones trailer was my favorite when I was little. It was what got me interested in Indiana Jones, which is why I am now an Indiana Jones fan.

When I was little and when it showed the Alien trailer, my mom would say, "This movie is scary. Look at the ground, do not watch the screen." Can't believe that the ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter was supposed to be an Alien attraction, where instead of a random dangerous alien being set loose in the theater, a Xenomorph is set loose in the theater.
