Where can I find more information about this?

great discussion but it's always frustrating to hear this same tired narrative of the over consumption of fruit leading to fatty liver...I have yet to see anyone eat copious amounts of fruit in a sitting or even a day..Why does it seem like the fiber content mitigating the fructose theory is always ignored?🤔
17:01 wow I’ve never heard Alzheimer’s described as type III diabetes..: thank you for this
I eventually want a consistent blood sugar of 3.3-3-8 range Fasting though post prandial. Any reason why I shouldn't?
Sad that through higher learning that “intelligent “ academics become brainwashed to the evolution theory! If you’re a scientist you must realise that the theory is not provable so why assume that it’s true?
ATP isnt the only or even main source of energy. Read gilbert ling's work. he was briliant. Our light environment has a huge impact on our mitochondria. Circadium health is another huge issue not dicussed here Training inside under blue light is hypoxic to mitochondria .
Gold material.
I’ve been taking methylene blue and doing red light therapy for my mitochondria plus eating a carnivore diet
Dr. Stacy Sims is outstanding! She is a trailblazer and expert with a mission on sharing the evidence-based science on women’s performance, exercise and nutrition, at all stages of life! Fantastic video!
Dr. Stacy Sims is amazing! Exceptional information from an expert on women’s performance and nutrition! Outstanding!
Dr Christabelle Yeoh could you please do a talk about women health declining to changes as we go through menopausal. Thank you!
This is the important content people should be watching but they not only eat garbage, they consume garbage media and that will lead to the fast-approaching garbage future. Sigh.
On Protein: Fat free mass vs total body weight is an important distinction as most recommendations are from people who are parroting other people none of whom make that distinction and often don't refer to studies. I'm use an imperfect method (bioelectrical impedance) to make sure my lean body mass isn't dropping as I'm 70 yo while not overdoing protein. I've been eating like Stacy for 1 years, for health and ethics. Yes to fiber, plant diversity, and fermented food. BTW, I was born in Europe and my understanding is that about half of Europeans have some degree of lactose intolerance (my 23andme indicates that for me). Thanks for very good discussion - making me rethink my exercise routine to incorporate a bit of heavy weight training a couple of times a week.
If I recall correctly, Mark Mattson (neuroscientist) also claimed that some level of time resting eating (prolonged overnight fasting) also increased BDNF. Wonder if excising in mildly fasted state, like in the morning before eating, might increase BDNF even more that each alone as well as having overall better effects on release of myokines etc.?
Dr Stacy sims does talk about exercise as a fasted state but still does not recommend exercising in a fasted state for women .
Hello from Romania! Impresionante informatii in acest podcast care a ajuns la mine si ma simt fff recunoscatore pentru acesta emisiune .Felicitari si astept urmatorul episod!!!

Thanks for taking the time to set and document this great conversion and thanks the guest for his great journey.
I read all the criteria for longevity, and for some reason a lot of expert does not recognized that social dancing can make you look younger and keep you in shape. I am 86 yrs old male ,my exercise to keep in shape, socialize, and enjoy life is dancing. I dance 4 to 5 times a week, 2 to 3 hrs, I dance quick step, Viennese waltz, tango , foxtrot, slow waltz, rumba, cha cha, samba, salsa, bachata, west coast swing, hustle, Argentine tango etc. To remember all the figures, steps, timing, body and leg action of each dance, stimulate your brain function. I have reach the age of 86 yrs, without doing any of the mentioned excercises. Of course I watch what I shove in my mouth.
Love the questions and great mix of lived experience with research insights!
This was awesome. Great discussion lads 😊
My husband has GBM. We want to enrol him in the clinical trials for MTP. How do we go about this when we are in Australia?
Can you still just apply the principles of MTP of multiple 5-day fasts and ketogenic intermittent fasting? I hope you of course are without needing to feel like you need to be on the trial :)
Hi Sharon! I am sorry, we can only (ethically) enroll people who are based in the Waikato or Wellington regions of NZ. Matt.
Great talk
Dr. Lustig did a study where he replaced fructose with glucose in children with NAFLD and reversed the fatty liver in 9 days while controlling for weight loss.
Hello Paul! I have watched the full video and I must say it was really informative.
