    Thanks to the 2x speed used or would be a sheer waste of 17 minutes. Pathetic delivery, thought process is uninteresting and drab. Glad that I now know what not to watch in future.

    Good review. I have been considering this pen for a while. I think the solid Dark Brown and Slate Grey colours call it to me more than the others. I think yours has stood the test of time pretty well. I may go for this dark brown one in fine (or medium). I am more of a Fine or Extra fine nib guy. I believe the silver appointments on the brown one stand out more than the Slate Grey. Cheers!

      I feel any pen costing more than max ₹100 Indian rupees is unnecessary. Handwriting is much important than the tool used for writing. In less than ₹100 rupees itself lots of fountain pens available with good quality. The pens costing more than ₹1,000 are all ego show offs in the name of collection or satisfaction or whatever it is... In reality, in this digital era the need for writing itself got reduced or minimal. At this time, the manufacturers without thinking about this, fixing hefty price shows their greed only. Opinion varies based on individuals & their show off money ego attitudes.

    Montblanc is usually able to fix pens with chips or cracks in the resin. The resin isn't really the most durable. A few people I know got their pens fixed and the broken parts replaced by Montblanc. It might be a good idea to look into so you can use the others again

    Hi bhaiya. i want to ask you something that as you have reviewed a lot of fountain pens so can you please suggest me my first fountain pen that i want to buy as a gift for myself on my coming birthday. my budget is around 4500rs , but thats not a point because sometime a cheap pen can be a better choice. i want a everyday carry smooth fountain pen as i am a engineer and also studying so i need a pen which i can use all day taking my notes and everything. please help me finding a perfect pen. ther eis slo one more thong that is i want a fountain pen which i can use for decades. please reply as soon as possible as i am getting confused.

      Sorry that your bhaiyya did not even bother replying to ur genuine query, it just shows the level of commitment he has for his own channel🤣. You seem to be really keen and that's nice to know. First things first... Do not go with the notion that the pricier the pen the better it is... There are many such pens that cost a few hundreds yet give you top notch performance and satisfaction equal to ones costing 100x the price. Since you are looking for a EDC I would suggest the BAOER 388 to start with. It has a M size nib, its an awesome writer from the minute you unbox it and does not even need any sort of tuning or fiddling with the nib. Just make sure to dip the nib and feed section in warm water with a few drops of liquid dish wash for 5 minutes... This ensures that any residual ink or dirt is cleaned before you fill ink in it. Thank me later as you will be thrilled at what 350 rupees has got you. This will give you a great start and then from here you can decide if you want a thicker nib or finer nib as per your writing preferences or maybe try other brands after watching reviews . You can blindly go ahead and buy the Baoer 388 without batting an eyelid. They come in 2 variants - Black / Brushed steel.

    I have one with an F nib and it ranks right up their with any of my other gold nib fountain pens including those which are quite more expensive than my 2000. Thanks for sharing.

      @@ronaldmcwhatnow9744 I have bought metropolitan fine. Which is thin. And kakuno medium which is little bit thick. Both r working smoothly. But if u want to write little more smooth. Go for medium of pilot.

    I'm on my second Lamy 2000 F nib [lesson learned, keep my pens way from the new puppy]. I still tend to grab this one than my Pilot 823, VP or any other in my nearby collection. Just a wonderful pen.

    Inside gold fine. Outside is affected. Could it not be the environment? Always hold the converter md twist from my one or risk wearing parts out.

    Nice pen but price is too high...... literally exceeded by 7k....Yeah a normal student pen costing 50 to 200 does write equally smooth

    Great video. One of my favorite pens. Versatile - can use the Pilot cartridges or the CON-70 converter, which holds lots of ink. I've one in Fine, which writes very nicely, but I do prefer the Soft Fine Medium nib version. It writes like a dream.

    I appreciate Indian fountain pen makers for these kind of pens, but still personally not a great fan of this particular design.. the clip design may be better a smooth glossy finish with longer grip may look better with a slightly slim and long barrel design.

    Thank you for this very informative video. I recently learned that there is a long tradition of handmade fountain pens in India. For me, a fountain pen should primarily be a utility item and not a luxury item for the showcase. Unfortunately, in Europe there are mostly only hand-made fountain pens that are obviously used for display cases or as status symbols, which I find very regrettable. I am all the more pleased about these beautiful pens from India.

    I used both parker beta neo and gold premium. But sorry to say both are not good enough compare to perre cardin penomatic.

    Sir, if it was some other normal and general tipped nib ,I mean any other nib if bend forward would cause the writer to write with the slightly upper part of the polished tip,not the baby's bottom like portion and hence the smoothness would have been reduced.But this nib perhaps is polished in such a way that the polished area falls on the upper part(or rather the whole surface is polished accordingly)since no one complains about this nib.

    Nice video. Problem with these pens it that it is the most copied, legitimately and as counterfeits in the pen world. For example, there is a Sailor pen which is very similar and writes very well with its gold nib and arguably has a better resin that wouldn't have chipped off like that. You really have to wonder about the MB pens if they are chipping off like that .. twice!!

    I have two Scrikss 419 FPs, black and green. Both the nibs are well tuned. But the designs are different. The nib of the black pen is just like the one shown in the video; there is no engraving or marking except for the logo. But the nib of the green pen is a bit different and has a floral design engraved on the nib. Also, 'M' is engraved on the left side of the nib. The black pen writes a fine-medium line, whereas the nib of the green pen writes much thicker.

    My personal experience with scrikss pens are not at all good. I got a gift of this pen and it’s nib doesn’t work at all. No help from the company, whom I tried to contact in every possible way. Anyways, that’s my experience and it may be a exceptional incidence but I really had a bad experience. Good video. Keep it up 👍

      Good review. Not sure why you keep referring to the Bordeaux/Burgundy finish/colour as Black resin. Kaweco Sports are great little pens. :)
