It was Bream who introduced me to lute music, when I was in my teens and a guitar player. Years later, when the 'early music' scene became more pedantic, and I myself was studying/playing lute, it became fashionable to write Bream off - his 'lute' wasn't a real lute, his technique was all wrong etc. But I still loved his playing. So nice to hear him memorialised appropriately.

First of all congratulations for this beautiful arrangement of one of the most beautiful pieces in the history of music, by Christoph Willibald Gluck, from the opera Orfeu e Eurídice. This sounding very good on the baroque lute instrument still used at the time of Gluck, who was an important composer of the transition period between the late baroque and the classical period, second half of the 18th century, in the baroque lute it was a period called “Galante”. I study baroque lute (I am a Brazilian, amateur musician), I would like to know how I could get the tablature for this arrangement. Thank you very much in advance.

Today a lot of luthenists play the music of Weiss in a church, this music however never ment to be played in a church but in a Palace or Castle. So bernhard is 100% correct in playing this music in the right place and his playing is beautifull!
