I like your figure-8 yarn bobbin, which doesn't require a ball band or anything else to wrap yarn around! I have a few of the Boye "yarn daisies", which usually can hold a bit more yarn than a ball band (which acts like a pencil when crumpled/compacted by the wrapped yarn); I've also seen larger 3D-printed plastic yarn bobbins on Etsy, but haven't purchased any of those yet. (Maybe for Mother's Day, though!)

If I only have to frog a little bit (back to the beginning of a granny square round, f.ex., because I'd rather start a new color than buy another skein of the same color), I stick my crochet hook in the loop coming up from the previous round; otherwise, I use a stitch marker like you do. (I've also used paper clips in the past, esp. before I had a supply of stitch markers.)

I will have to try your method the next time I have to deal with a yarn tangle!

Im suffering with syatica TODAY because of the needles they out in my back 22 years ago with delivering ky daughter. Ive never been the same. The wonan with the needle? They had to wake up, sge didnt even habe sleep rubbed outta her eyes and damaged my back. The 2 epidurals did nit work. The 3 stick was spinal tap. It dud numb me i dudnt feel the knife. But no way. I hope she delivers soon and avoids BS

Abd hospitals are full of Covid and nurses and doctors needing sleep. They wirk to many hours. Theyre not clean. Its a sess pool of germs. The child duesnt need birthing there

Legally have ti have it in the hospital? My ass. Its none of the governments business where a chikds birn. My Granny had 5 at home, and her mother had 18 at home. Overlook, and figive my tone. My irritation is, in no way directed at you or your precious family. Government works for us. Not them tell us where we can give birth, or what our kids eat, where they school at. Zero of their damn business. People have to live on ehat resources they have. They sure dint need ridiculous hospital bills because they go one day past what the lowsy law says. People making laws about babies thats bever had a baby 9f their own. I love the earrings ❤

I thought everyone did it like this. That is the way, we've learned in school - years after my Grandmother taught me this. It is very handy when finding bags of yarns in thrift stores or get given yarn by friends and neighbors. Yes, it take time (and sometimes looks as one makes the problem worse *lol*) - but it works and is a lot cheaper than buying new yarn.

The idea to use at home as stays clean and just enough to be warm when watching TV with robe will trap body heat. I often overheat quick only to cool down quick also. It is nice that can put on and take off easy.
