Hey Russ, I have a stupid question. I’ve got the new clips for the top from the parts site that you referenced and that part of the process looks like it’ll be easy but how the heck do you get the bottom two mount connectors to go to the rectangular holes on the other side. I can’t get bottom of seat back to fit and I didn’t know if you just had it looped over aluminum cross piece there at the bottom. I’m good at using too much force and breaking things so I’ve learned to try to ask someone who knows and you do. I’ve tried to pick it up from the videos, but you go real fast when you connect it back and I can’t see what’s happening anyway thanks for all you do and I know you don’t get paid for this, but if I could like it I would like it 1 million times.

I've had my 2012 GX for 5 years and never really had an issue with the seat but fractured 3 vertebrae in Oct 23 and things changed. As I finally started driving again the seat has been killing me. 30 minute trip and I'm ready to quit. Wasn't looking for a fix when I found your vid. I was looking for a hint on re-attaching the seat back, which had gotten knocked loose somehow or another. TL;DR took that wretched cable loose and ordered 2 new clips since originals were missing. Thank you very much. sir.

How high off the ground does it go up? I store my grill in the garage and roll it out on a brick walkway and patio. Does anyone have issues rolling it on rather bumpy bricks ( the bricks have mortar so it’s not a smooth surface)

Russ, what a great color on that 56. I saw one on Friday - ONE OWNER ! THey wrote down EVERY trip they took. It was a salmon colored lower, a cream colorer top and color coordinated fabric on the seats. It looked brand new and it was really pretty. I have a 56 coupe deville (no ac). Cadillac Limo's used a rear AC unit for many many years. I see limo's from the 70's have a similar unit in the trunk.

I love how all these things just pop right out for you. Meanwhile mine seem to be super glued in place
