Quick question. Your initial row of blocks, when you turn to go back do you consider that a long row or a short row. I’ve done this project several times and love it but each time I’ve turned then filled in with the shorter row. That makes it so that I have a very small corner making your other corner finish video not match exactly.

Directions should be slower and more clear. For instance, on the first row of pink, it would be nice if you said which stitch we should make our sc, the first or second chain from the hook.

I have the other prym hooks, the plastic ones and they don’t slide smoothly through my yarns. They make a squeaky noise which doesn’t bother me but they don’t fly smoothly like my clovers.

my 'normal' chains look horrible, so have gone to long tail KNIT cast on, which gives me a nice edge that is easy to work into for a border, looks nice, and gets my loops on the hook ready to go. love your channel and how you teach!

I crochet SO loosely that if I go up two full MM(sizes in US terminology can be confusing, giving arbitrary numbers), I have HOLES, lots and lots of holes...so one full MM works for me. Have fun experimenting, to learn your own tension, so you get the look you want. Love this method of figuring, because I want to do a blanket using leftover balls, in tiny squares.Thank you for making this so very clear!

Thank you for this tutorial I successfully made the spiral for a pillow cover but unfortunately i couldn’t make it into a granny square. I just didn’t know what to do because mine was obviously bigger than yours. Anyways making another spiral as we speak to complete the other one and leaving them both as circles lol Thank youu😘🤍

It would be helpful to measure the top of the hat so we can check the gauge. That way if the circle is too big or small we can change the hook size;I am making it now , I don’t want to 🐸 if it’s too big ?

I find that all the Coopay hooks compare well with the two big brand hook sets! I have used them for a few years and though I have the Clover and Tulip hooks, it’s difficult to tell them apart, honestly!

Hi, I have this set, plus a bunch of loose, Susan Bates hooks, and some boy also. I bought this set pretty much out of nostalgia, I think. This is a set that most of us learn how to crochet on, or at least we use something very similar. I love these hooks. I’ve been using them the last couple of weeks and it has been like rediscovering something I really love. I held out on getting my clovers, my tulips, my odyssey, etc. etc. for a long time. I have noticed that manybig-time UA-cam crochets just stick to the basics and that is fine. I love my little Susan Bates, crochet hooks. And another good thing is that they are color coded, so it is easy to find what I want.
