Workin' on that Chunky Stuff (Bootleg Canyon Mountain biking) Boulder City NV
Second day ever riding mountain bikes. Had a hard time on a certain spot at Bootleg canyon so I wanted to go back and do that one little part over and over and over again until I had it down. I recorded the progress over my 10 tries.

Learning to ride a unicycle progression!
Переглядів 5464 роки тому
Learning to ride a unicycle and my progress. It took me about a week to learn. We originally tried to learn without support but it was way more difficult to learn that way. Then we got our support with a corner of a wall to mount the unicycle and pushed off. That was better and I was able to get about 10 full revolutions this way but it was tough to progress further. Finally we wised up and fou...
Trying to get in shape while living in a van
Переглядів 1385 років тому
It's easy to get in the gym, but it's hard to eat right and do the dishes and manage when all you have is an ice cooler. I also don't like parting with my money, so buying the groceries is challenging. But the exercise is easy! So we're doing some baseline assessments to see where I'm at in terms of my fitness. I forgot to put the numbers down, but as of the last couple days of May 2019: Deadli...
Finally bought a van - 2019 update. Doing well
Переглядів 2905 років тому
Finally bought a van and have it setup to live in. I haven't been doing videos because I didn't consider using a mobile app to edit the videos in my free time. But it looks like it's going to work, so I'll hopefully be more consistent. Living in a van now and working. Life is moving in the right direction and it feels good.

An update on my car living situation: 9/2017
Переглядів 3126 років тому
I've been really dumb for a long time, and that's why my situation has been so miserable. All of the frustrations I've gone through have been unnecessary, but happen because I make bad decisions. The main mistake I've made was not going out and getting an income. Being poor all the time has really taken a toll on my health in many ways, and it's time that I go and just get a part time job, even...

should you set small goals?
Переглядів 797 років тому
www.startupinacar.com Is setting SMALL goals a better idea than setting big goals? There are upsides and downsides to both big and small goals, but I've noticed a lot of very successful people and companies started out as small ideas. Think and grow rich was originally a small idea, and it grew over time to become a book. It was never intended to be a book but it became one. Setting and accompl...

If you plan to keep your car, it may be worth it to remove the passenger seat. then set up a cot or wood panell from front to back and use a 4"foam. you will have a permanent bed. an extra seat behind driver seat and a full trunk for everything else. Oh nevermind- I just saw this was 7 yrs ago and you prob are married and own a house lol.

Get a 2-3" memory foam twin size the kind that rolls. If it is to long roll some it under itself for it to fit. That side will be a little more thick that's where your head goes. Add a pillow if needed

About the last method you can do this with your seatbelt on if you are in a road trip, here is how to. You go sit in the middle seat then put the seatbelt on. Then when you put the seatbelt you now that part of the seatbelt that goes over your body right? Pull that part to the side. Then lay down and enjoy.

Want sleep in any position even on your face? Do like i do 3 beers 3 shots of Tahkillyah (Tequila) and you'll be out like drunken bum in the streets works every time for me!! and the weather wont even bother you, especially if your face is stuck between the seats. Now the next day you need a bathroom fast get breakfast and start over word of warning dont eat burrito xtra hot before bed time you'll gas yourself to death.

Don't I wish I could get a van soon. Noises don't bother me but if I have a hard time sleeping I turn on some podcast or another and fall asleep instantly. I learned, no more than 30-45min or have dead phone in the morning. I sleep in the passenger seat. Some cars are better than others.

Putting a bed pillow on each back seat so the seat belt latches are covered worked well for me. A sun deflector keeps you warm and unassuming from people walking by. Saves a lot of money on vacations and frees you up to travel at night when the roads are deserted.

Just be smelly ,it's natural . When you can't take the stench anymore just ask someone if you can use there shower. Me personally i don't like being smelly. In a car I would use a portable garden spray just fill up with warm water. Use portable gas stove. It will do the job.

When it was warmer out I used to just put the driver seat back and with the windows cracked, sleep like that. I have anxiety so the warm outside air calmed me. If it was raining it was so relaxing. Well, it's cold now and although kicking the car sleeping idea around again, I'm a bit nervous about being too cold. Lol
