NEW Montessori Inspired Home Projects- Part 1- BEFORE
It’s been a busy few months over here and we are finally ready to take on 2 projects to simplify, organize and restructure Ethel’s play are and bedroom. Feeling inspired by the Montessori principals, we are looking forward to implementing some of them and helping Ethel grow and learn in a way that encourages independence & confidence.

I cover medications, milk increasing foods, supplements pumping, why I chose to breastfeed, and how it’s all been going so far. *I am not a health care provider. Please be sure to talk to YOURS before trying to induce lactation to come up with a safe plan for you. Correction: Domperidone is a...

THE WINE WAS WONDERFUL! | TRAVEL VLOG 2016 (part 12)
Such a precious family , so much love !!
Great journey, I have three adoptive daughters and it has been quite the experience, I just wished for this little one that her first name was Rose and than Ethel. Ethel reminds of of gasoline and is unattractive.
Just to avoid the spread of false information - Domperidone is NOT a hormone. You do NOT produce colostrum with induced lactation. The first few drops are regular breast milk. Colostrum is complex and only produced by hormones released in pregnancy from the placenta. Domperidone can cause an adverse reaction (not the primary intended purpose of the drug but rather an incidental finding) of increased hormones released from your pituitary gland, which in return can cause the production of mature breast milk. Not colostrum. Some adoptive mothers find the birth mom is willing to express her colostrum in the weeks leading up to the birth of the baby so that the newborn can get valuable colostrum before mature breast milk from the adoptive mother (although not all birth moms are able/willing and that’s OKAY)
😊❤❤🎉ur baby very very cute
Did you have an any side effects talking from the Domperidone ?
I have heard it’s possible, it amazes me it can be done 😊
Ethel is gorgeous
Congratulations she’s gorgeous
❤
What's with the cost? In 1957 two wonderful people adopted me, as an infant, and paid $12 in court fees (state of CT). Twelve. Thank you Catholic Family Services for finding me such loving parents. Lucky me, Dad lived to be 86 and Mom lived to be 94, and they were mine, mine, mine. I still miss them. I wish you all the love that we had as a family. Bless you on your journey.
When did you get to start feeding your daughter? I know some states dont allow it until finalization.
Nature is full of magic
Have been a foster mom adoptive mom and bio mom not for open adoptions adoptive parents have to bear emotional financial etc. and observed moms who gave up children dropping in every once in a while disruptive to families and adopted children.
Good mama, and thanks for your sacrifice.
Wow, I loved this video and all the value information. I admire your perseverance. Your're a super mom!
Thank you for this video it's soooo informative. God Bless you and your family! She is Beautiful!! My husband and I are on the adoption journey but I was and am praying about starting lactation to be able to donate breast milk while I'm waiting for the adoption process and then when we receive a baby I will already have breast milk for the baby. My question being do you suggest hey hand breast pump to begin with I read that it's easier on the breast and just stuck at the circulation going and then change over to electronic breast pump what are you thoughts on this please anyone?
She was born on my 40th birthday! (I'm an adoptive mom too!)
infertility affects many couples, unless you have been through this journey you know the pain. If you know someone or end up knowing someone who has been trying to have a baby and has not been able to conceive; please be sensitive in what you do and say and acknowledge their pain. And yes, birth moms are part of God's plan as are the couples that are placed at the right time to parent those who need them. Couples who are chosen to be adoptive parents are picked by God and that alone is a blessing.

How do they manage to breastfeed when they have adopted. It shouldnt cost anything to adopt
You take breast milk producing hormones. It's brilliant, best for baby, excellent for adopted mothers to bond with their new baby as well. ❤
Donperidon is NOT a hormone … it causes a release of prolactin but it’s NOT prolactin.
Beautiful baby girl
She’s gorgeous god bless her
How can she breastfeed the baby when that’s not her baby/ she was never pregnant? Bit confused or did she just hold the baby to her breast?😊
There's hormones that bring on lactation. It's wonderful for baby and and adopted mum. Really great bonding for both baby and mum. I ❤ it.
Are you Canadian? My son was born in Lions gate hospital in north Vancouver. Is it the same hospital?
You breastfeed her? Awww
Absolutely wonderful , congratulation’s
Madame , Monsieur , votre démarche est admirable !!! touchante , émouvante , votre amour et affection pour cette enfant transpire et elle; deviendra sans aucun doute une personne superbe , cela me fait un bien fou.
Do you notice the litter box at all being a hassle? I keep reading that pig urine is very strong and you have to clean the litter box every-time they go.

You are amazing! Baby Ethel is so lucky to have you mama. :)

2 pills of domperidone three times a day is 60ml a day, is it safe?

What brand of domperidone did you take mam?
I really feel sad about the birth mother. I fo hope Ethel will be allowed to know about what an amazing selfless mother she was. She will never forget her baby.
So special!
Am giving up adoption for my baby please contact
She's beautiful
How exciting thanks for sharing
Me and my fiancé are about to get married and once we are back from our honeymoon, we are going to start the adoption process! We are extremely excited and I am also going to try and breastfeed our little one! I never knew you could do this and now I am super excited to do our adoption. I feel like it will help me bond with our little one and I know it’s super healthy for babies! I’ve done so much research on it and they say that in other countries, it is a normal thing to have the mother of the mama, to act as a second source of milk in case the mom gets sick or can’t breast feed for some reason! It makes total sense. Congratulations on your baby and being able to breast feed! Fingers crossed that I am able to produce milk also!
Happy for u all. Glad she wasn't aborted
Happy Thursday night
I am so incredibly happy for you that you were able to do this for your baby. I’m 7 weeks postpartum and the bonding experience is so special and important to my baby and I. I am so glad you could experience that with her. Thanks for the tips! 💗
Thats so cool you've found a way to do this!
Share updated please
