well ain't that damn annoying. Заебали вы все.
hi! im loving these videos and the way you teach works so well for me, i just cannot find the third video on the alphabet :(
Marix.
That "h" pronunciation is not Yiddish. It's Hebrew. Your Yiddish ain't gonna sound very Yiddish.
Thank you so much. Your wisdom is a shining beacon in the devastated landscape that is my obviously dissatisfactory knowledge of anything. Your contribution to humanity cannot be praised enough. Keep on being a know-it-all and piss off.
do you have privated those videos
' → Zş?
Thank you for the videos you've given us. I only found this channel recently, so I don't know which videos used to be here, but I've never seen 03 in the series, which I don't need but was looking forward to watching. The effort that goes into making these videos is likely underappreciated by most viewers (myself included), but I can imagine the time and effort that goes into the planning, the recording, the editing, the clear explanations, not to mention the knowledge you've accumulated to even be able to make such videos. As a constant language dabbler, I know that what you're providing is better than what is put out by most language companies and learning institutions -- and of course they're making a lot of money, while you're making pennies with UA-cam. Might I suggest that you keep a full set of videos, something akin to Yiddish 1's worth of material, to whet people's appetite towards Yiddish and to promote your private lessons. I also recommend you package your videos for Udemy's platform, where people pay for courses. I think the benefit of your private lessons must be in the interaction with you and classmates, not just strictly you giving these lectures live, which of couse few would pay for when they have a happy substitute in these videos. As for responding to emails, I would advise against it should you return to making videos. As someone who has wasted a great deal of time online explaining to people how wrong they are philosophically, I know firsthand how unappreciative people can be even when presented with veritable gold in clarity and profundity, which comes at great cost even to someone as astute and eloquent as I am. Screw them, I said to myself, and stopped participating in philosophy online forums, a gabfest of fops and fools, so I know your pain. Thanks again. You've inspired me to give Yiddish another try.
Thank you for this. You are a real mentch.
What a shame.
Thank you very much

Hello, your videos help me a lot. But I just can’t find the third video regarding the Alef beys….
A dank!
Where's the third video?
i would also like to know :(

?
I just started to learn Yiddish and found your videos very useful. Sad to see you stop. All the best to you and God bless you. Sunny
Aw man, I just discovered you. you were the best resource I could find. :( I hope you do well.
Its sad way to know yidish is very popular, with universities commiting acts of piracy, depressing indeed....
Thank you for giving me insight into this interesting laguage. It is sad to see you gone and most videos deleted now, but I understand it. I wish you and your soon to be students a great time, farewell! :)
איך לערן זיך יידיש
So sad to see you go. I've really enjoyed your videos as a walk through of the things I've learned in my uni course some time ago.
Noooo!I have enjoyed your lessons so much
Plz reconsider deleting your videos. Still, I wish you the best.
You are one of the only Yiddish teachers on UA-cam. Sad to see you go.
Sorry to hear you are discontinuing producing videos and would be interested in hearing why. Please reconsider deleting your already posted content.
I grew tired of the fact that much bigger organisations and university courses use my materials without even asking me. And it’s sad that people email me with a question and I spend hours creating grammar explanation and exercises to that specific question (for free!) and then I don’t even get a thank you in return. I’m not doing it anymore.
@@ikhlernzikhyiddish thank you for sharing. I am sorry to hear that. May the Lord help and guide you in figuring out what pleases Him and brings His Kingdom the most glory. The night comes when no man can work.
Nooo :( why delete the videos???
Why keep them up? I grew tired of the fact that much bigger organisations and university courses use my materials without even asking me. And it’s sad that people email me with a question and I spend hours creating grammar explanation and exercises to that specific question (for free!) and then I don’t even get a thank you in return. I’m not doing it anymore.
@@ikhlernzikhyiddish you did the right thing. You shouldn't waste your talent. Leave some videos up with your contact info and start charging for this quality teaching. You taught me a lot bro. I wish for you the best. אַ שיינעמ דאַנק
"Why keep them up?" May I suggest two reasons? 1. All the videos you've taken down are already available elsewhere on the web, e.g., on the Bilibili site, and are easy to find. But you are not getting any credit for them. Leaving them up here will mean that at least there'll be one place on the web where you do get credit for your work. 2. If your plan is to go into private teaching, then leaving the videos up will make for good marketing. You'll be demonstrating to everyone your skill as a teacher. However, I wish you all the best whatever you decide to do and would like to express my gratitude and appreciation for your work. זאָל זייַנ מיט מאַזל!
Why delete your vids? That's such a Shanda.
Why keep them up? You know what a ‘shanda' is? The fact that much bigger organisations and university courses use my materials without even asking me. A ‘shanda’ is that people email me with a question and I spend hours creating a grammar explanation and exercises to that specific question (for free!) and then I don’t even get a thank you in return. That’s a ‘shanda’ and I’m not doing it anymore.
@@ikhlernzikhyiddishWhy not put a disclaimer saying not to use the videos for any purpose? and you dont have to reply to any email that strangers send you.
@@ikhlernzikhyiddish Greed greed has ruined every good initiative. How much did you earn now by destroying your course? Here on UA-cam there are a lot of free courses in Spanish, English and other languages. Learn from them how they make money.
Thank you for your classes! Для русскоязычных учеников ближайшая аналогия: имена существительные в именительном(N), родительном/винительном(A) и дательном(D) падежах.
I really needed some help on my Yiddish. Thank You!!
*Muchas Gracias* Recuerdo Mi *Casa*
So useful! Thank you.
asdjfhskjghsd this is genuinely hilarious thank you so much. (also very helpful)
Surprising amount of similar words to Swedish, cool!
Ok, since I already speak German I feel more at home. So, when pertaining to nouns, they are-the same. Nouns could either be Masc, Fem, or Neutral, and plural-always Fem. Same as in German. Like rules in modern English; Yiddish just needs to be learn-like one would memorize mathematical flash cards. I enjoyed this mini lesson.🙂
Shu-alhakyem is an yiddsh word that how you can produncinate hi in yiddish
(just reminding people)
א גרויסן דאנק!
About the letter Aleph, you say that if I want to write down a word starting with ther letter "yud", I can put a shtumer alpeh at he beginning of the word. But the word "Yiddish" starts with a yud without a shtumer aleph. Did I got something wrong ?
Well, yes and no. Yiddish (ייִדיש) starts with a 'yi' (ייִ) the 'y' being a consonant, but there are other orthographies - אידיש and there you start with a shtumer alef. You can see this rule applied in words starting with just one 'yud': אינזשעניר (inzhenir - engineer), איטאַליע (italie - Italy), איבער (iber - over). Hope it makes sense.
Shaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
Really Good ! Thanks !
Really good, thanks. 🕎
