On the Love soundtrack album, a pitch shifted excerpt of "Blackbird" segues directly into "Yesterday", forming a brief medley of acoustic ballads. Just as the Love version features a unique mix of the iconic string backing in "Yesterday", so too does this custom release offer an alternative bass chart to the original release with a heavier emphasis on cello. During the live Cirque du Soleil show, the music was accompanied by a skit involving a performer portraying the blackbird, before displaying footage of Paul performing "Yesterday" against a shadowy, abstract background - visuals also present in the song's dreamscape!
