I need some advice for this late December and early January here in Palatka 🙏🏼
Junk
Good info and I agree. Thank you. I'm a retired saltwater guide and ran my boat for charter for 20 years. Solunar with tide alliegnment was hugh and I still track and use it today. Tight lines and Blessings!
great help, would like to see more images from graph, Thanks so much
That ring knot never cinch’s in that easy for me. I tie the damn thing all the time and it still never does. Drives me crazy watching people do that easy lol
Great vid! New subscriber. Would love if you had broke down your setup on that bubbashot rig with rod , line, hook, lures etc.
I guess I’m missing something. I fished Griffin Sunday and struggled. Best 5 were 6 1/2 lbs.
Got a 14 pound bag in the apopka canal on sun 12/15/24. Thanks Gino.
Where can a brother beat up the bank around here in Lady lake? Help me out please. Love all the videos catch them fatties captain
This is good stuff
Any intel on crappie?
Crappie bite is steady they are sitting about 6-9 feet haven’t moved up to the grass yet. I caught 20 slabs last weekend thru two days fishing little lake Harris
I think the bass are keeping them off their beds in the shallows that’s why the crappie are still deep
This has been the best fishing ive ever had on the chain in my life these last few weeks. I found a area stacked with fish and every time I go there ive gotten 10-15 pound bags with a jackhammer. All were getting ready to spawn for me
Actually got 2nd place in my last tournament on the chain last Sunday buy staying in one spot all day
Love it.
Thanks capt. Hairs lookin on point son! Chains been beating my teeth in and I struggle during this time but a boys still out trying! Keep up the great work out there! 💪
I've been sticking to Griffen in this transition, it's fishing really good. I can't believe tyler did remind me to put a hat on. Lol. I had just came from my kids christmas party.
@GinoLosi I was on Griff today but that north wind beat me senseless, headed back out in the a.m. to see if mothernature wants to cooperate. Appreciate it Capt.
And p.s. you're correct on the short canal being fire in the morning, beauclair I cashed a big fish check Saturday, 8ft eel grass working a jerkbait SLOW that seemed to be the deal all the way around
Thanks Gino, your information is always clear and reliable. Have a safe and prosperous holiday season.
Appreciate that 👍
Lets go. The Harris Chain King!
I hunted waterfowl for nearly 40 years basically every day of the season. Unless I was fixing things. Like boats trucks guns decoys. My best times were when (( living in Minnesota)). Big Low pressure that’s going to be followed high pressure. During late early November moon phases. I remember beating everyone too the best spots reading the news paper by the moonlight 😀😀. Maybe I’m exaggerating. (( also depends on how cold 🥶 it’s getting. Those were the best days ever. And!! Nobody would be out there anyways because weather was so!! Nasty. But I could watch the cable weather channels. And start predicting it. On the spot. Takes time on the water. And years of experience
That young dude can. Set that hook. 🪝😀😀
I’ve never fished Harris chain and I’m fishing a tournament there in January, what would you do?
Can’t see S…….😢
In Lakes don’t forget too overlook the position of the plankton and food chain. Has factors too this too. Overcast what where wind is blowing directions how many days. Low light and wind raises plankton up in the water column wind pushes it. Activates feeding. Same time Low pressure
Can’t see the line. Should have used larger line.
You are the first person to actually explain WHY fish do what they do before a storm. I had always thought the pressure and moon phases were bunk.
Dbag lol. Keep selling stuff to pros
I just installed my AT and haven't even had it out yet. But I just naturally thought that being able to adjust it would make for better views but then I thought if that was the case the manufacturer would have told us about it. Glad I found this video. Guess I should check out fishinology
I thought it was scout mode ?
Great video
I’ve did that and I’m 10. It hurt so bad I got it past barb
I hated it when someone spends a minute talking about the knot. This is Fast, got the point, easy to understand. Thank you sir.
Awesome information. Thanks so much!
wish i had access to a small boat and someone to let me know what works best to the local panfish. i'm just a misplaced oregonian in eustis, fl.
This is a Great Video. I have watched it Multiple times and pic up something each time. Thanks for sharing.
Better info than Lowrance Customer Service.. I have issues with my 3-in-1 transducer on my HDS Live 12.. No reading on plane. Comes & goes when not moving. Transducer is parallel with boat bottom. Any ideas?
So I just watched about 3/4 of this episode and got inspired. I walked outside and cast a line. I live on Lake Eustis btw. well I hooked into and landed my PB 24 in. 6 1/2 lbs Large Mouth. True story. Keep up the good work! Tight Lines!
Get a lip clamp for your scale, gill hanging FFS, do better…
Man get your act together rehearse several times before you film the video get all your maps and videos together and quit saying um so damn much
super video !!!!
Was my information about handling bass in error? I learned because I was told to grab the bass by the lip… that way you’re not rubbing off the protective “Slime”… on the body
Gino, there has to be more to this than that. Scientifically it is impossible for water to be compressed. Air can be compressed but water molecules can not be. If you are under the surface of the water you can not feel changes in air pressure because air can NOT compress water. I have heard in conversation but can't verify is that the air pressure either allows for or retards the release of suspended gases in the body of water. That the barometer doesn't affect pressure in the water but actually changes the composition of the water or the atmosphere of the water if you will. It would be like changing our air quality.
Thanks for the insight. I'm just a fisherman, sharing what I've learned on the water and woods. Regardless of what triggers fish's change in behavior scientifically. I have personally witnessed this on a daily basis for a very long time. With that said, I agree that it is probably far too complex for my little brain to understand the exact science. Regardless of the exact science, all game and fish are absolutely affected by changes in weather. Correct me if I'm wrong, but changes in weather can be marked by changes in air pressure. Please understand that there are additional variables that also have great effects on fish's behavior, for example, tide, the spawn, water quality, fishing pressure, etc. Regardless of the science I can assure you this information is absolutely valuable. Try it. You might learn something of value that you can share with us. Thanks for stopping by.
@@GinoLosi I'm a retired Detective looking to find some answers. This is as far as I got. Fish on brother..
Try a UV resin to finish the head on your jig and hit it with a black light. J Stockard Fly Fishing sells Loon Outdoors UV resin. It dries quicker and harder than superglue and looks much more professional.
Random question. Do people use inboards to do on these lakes?
Thanks bud this video was so incredibly helpful to me, I just bought HDS 12 and it’s the first one I’ve ever had. Thanks for sharing your knowledge
good info mate,im new to these sounder, picked up a lowrance hds carbon 12 from a mate, very nice one questioning the sonar, you don't recommend med or high chirp over the 200hz?? im in salt water,Australia, thanks for the good info
Thank you for the great info. I just recently purchased a HDs 9 live 3-in-1 and have it all hooked up in my boat. I am running it as a stand alone unit I don't have it hooked up to any network. I was told if you run a 3-in-1 transducer only you should have it plugged into Channel 2 on the back of the unit. When I do that my down scan and side scan work fine but the 2D does not work there is nothing showing on the screen except for the depths on the side. It is not reading the bottom at all. Any help would be grateful thank you.
Love you killing it before ffs was on the boat!! You da man!!
Love the ology never had a problem unless you miss a payment but that was my bad took a little work but love the knowledge you share in your school!! Keep it up man really appreciate it!!!!
There's always a first I had never seen a hair jig for Bass fishing being tied, you sold me 👍
Yeah! real easy
