There’s so many great long distance footpaths in the UK, it’s hard to decide on which one to walk next.
So I decided to challenge myself to walk from John o’ Groats to Land’s End. I don’t have two or three months to walk the entire route in one go, so I will have to walk it in multiple trips.
I felt this Walking Challenge need some rules, so I’ve created six based on the Rules for Entry into the UK National Trails Register, which are viewable on the Long Distance Walkers Association website, ldwa.org.uk/nationaltrails/nationaltrails.php
