Hmm. The honorary "Your Movie Is So Good It Made My Life Look Like Shit" Rating. I like that. I think "Her" is that movie for me. I agree with you that this movie was incredible. I was pretty obsessed with it for weeks after I first saw it. I need to remind myself to rewatch it again sometime. Love this review! Love your personal passion for this movie, it never stops being entertaining to listen to! :D

This was the most overrated movie of the year. It should have gone straight to video. It reminds me of the movies I used to buy from the 99 cent store for my grandma.

Emma Stone's comment is right: nobody gives a shit. I thought this movie was incredibly well done, Keaton is truly amazing, Norton too. But the story's self-indulgence robs the character of a deeper meaning. I felt the same way about Sunset Blvd.

the second half of Birdman was underwhelming and the ending was confusing. I was loving it until it became the Michael Keaton show. It went no where.
this movie is about EVERYTHING FO REAAAL
Miles Teller had played drums since he was 15 but he still needed training for this film because jazz drumming is different from what he was used to. Miles did played all the drums scenes, even the solo (but they had to break it up. Took two days to shoot) The blisters he got from drumming were even real.
