@@Pattyjonson Nope. It’s a common misconception. He tried piano classes when he was 6, but he quit because he didn’t like being told how to play. He taught himself and played piano recitals at school. He got As in music class, so he got a scholarship to take classical guitar lessons for 2 years. He then discovered rock and bought an electric guitar after seeing a video of Hendrix. Hell, in some early interviews he said couldn’t even read music. He learned everything by himself and with Muse.

It's insane! I have no clue how to train the ear to replica this! I have classical training on violin and still can't remember all of Brandenburg #3 or Concerto in E minor, but I like it low. Air on the G string is still my favourite....

I believe it's cuz of his teacher picking on the position of his middle finger; probably the same finger that hangs when he's doing a crazy guitar solo.

@@avalanche6663 Aaron can play most of the tracks, it just takes a lot of energy so long concerts wouldn't really be possible. Also yeah, Eddie does play like 4-5 instruments lmao

It was never the vocals that stopped them, it's the playing the instruments live. Like I'm sure they can play the songs but being consistent and playing a full show would be very difficult

@@The_Crooked_Path honestly I’d love a live tour of IA. I’d be perfectly fine if Aaron had the wicked fast blasts programmed and triggered. Back track of bass/rhythm guitars for anything Eddie doesn’t play. If Rings of Saturn can pull it off with three dudes and a playback track I’m sure they could.

Aaron actually said he can play a solid amount of his songs but he's not really in a healthy condition right now to say the least. At his physical peak he could probably play a couple songs live, but even then the blast beats and double kicks are too extreme for just about everyone on the planet to play for hours on end.

There's quite a lot of factors which hinder their live performance. Dickie Allen uses quite a lot of layering i.e. High vocals and low vocals played at the same time. He can record them separately in studio of course, but it's barely impossible live if there isn't an extra vocalist in the background. Angelmaker solved this problem by having the guitarist do vocals as well, which allows them to use up to 3 different vocal styles. But angelmaker is a 6 piece band to begin with, twice the no. of members in IA. The drums are a problem too. Some parts are properly programmed so it's almost impossible to replicate them live. As for the guitarist, I think he has some parts sped up. Accompanied with that is the fact that he does bass, lead, and rhythm guitar altogether so they'll need two more members to actually play his parts thoroughly live. I'd love them live, no doubt in that, but limitations can always be there.
