I wonder what would happen if the good Captain (and possibly others) got into some Mario power-ups.

The art style is great but the team line-up is kinda underwhelming Like, I'm glad Pit and Palutena (who Princess Lana was based of) are still there but Falco and Villager are pretty questionable. The former is already part of another team and the latter originates from an IP where fighting is non-existent. Ashley is a fine addition but I still wonder why Rock, Simon and Samus (who joined the team in the comics) isn't. Those three, along with Pit, are perfect because they're known for (mostly) doing things alone. If you look at the success of Guardians of the Galaxy, people LOVE a ragtag group of broken loners who eventually band together as an unconventional family

I like some of the ideas in this animatic, like having Palutena instead of Princess Lana and the more game faithful interpretations of the characters. But, I instead would have the team from the original (Mega Man, Pit, and Simon Belmont) with new additions like Samus, Min Min, and Captain Falcon and a new version of Kevin going up against Mother Brain, Ridley, Dr. Wily, and Dr. Coyle.
