Reactive Air-Gun Targets!
Here's a look at some of the reactive air-gun plinking targets I have been working on. Mostly made from recycled materials.
I have many more in the works and will soon make a video showing those off as well.

"MIKE MILECK EDITION .22 CALIBER QB-78 DELUXE w/FULL-POWER TUNE"! Original full power tune performed by Master Air-Gunsmith Mike Melick! I got my QB-78 Deluxe from Mike Mileck of Flying Dragon Air-Rifles for many reasons, here are just a few: Mike Mileck actually breaks-down each Air-Rifle he receives from the Factory for a complete "Pre-Inventory Inspection"! If he finds a problem or if the ba...

The wine corks is a great idea. You could just push the cork onto a small nail or pin? Cheaper and possibly easier than using bolts? Thanks for a great vid.

Mike got my FDPCP, xs60c version 1 To do a bit better than that and the first version 1.5 in 177 To really let them go but the second 1.5 I got didn't get the power tune but let you shoot untill your just tired of it on a single fill. Love them !

Years later, here I am, pretty cool idea using those synth corks! My first idea, as you mentioned having to put them back up was: Why not, since you already got the bolts, nuts and washer, design some kind of retaining string/wire so that the targets can still fly off, but you wouldn't have to run all over to find and pick them up. That way you could simply pull on the wire or string and reel them back in. Could maybe be achieved via hot-glueing the string on to them, at the back, so that you don't constantly hit the spot, should work nicely.

Very Nice and recycled cans... all have multiple usages. Turing them around and placing a target inside with the lid would work too.... quick and easy. Well Done!!! A thought; fishing line thru the cans to suspend the lids inside the cans...

Regarding your last target and your fear of a ricochet coming back in the direction of the shooter and your fear of such a ricochet inflicting harm, rest assured that it would be a physical impossibility for a lead pellet, after striking a target such as yours, to then ricochet with enough power to inflict harm to the shooter. For every action, there is an equal but opposite reaction.

Neat idea, with the cans you could put the small ones under the top rail for some more targets as well.

cut slots behind each cork, put them all on a screw, that way you can shoot them, and instead of flying away, they simply turn to the bottom and you can shoot them to reset them

I think I can beat you ( nice video by the way ) with my full tune ( and temperature at 32 degrees ) I’m running 18.13 grain ( exact jumbo heavy ) 1130 FPS or around 51 foot pounds . I have multi string chronos to prove . They are great guns for tinkering with 👍👍

I'm not looking for those #'s. You did an amazing job. I just purchased my 1st QB78. 18-20+ ft.lbs. would be good for me. Can you give me any suggestions, besides the Archer Tune Kit?

@@gabepettinicchio7454 hi Gabe I’m not sure what’s in an archer time kit but if your a bit handy and can dismantle the gun open up the transfer holes particularly the transfer port . Obviously the bigger you go the better . The spring makes a big difference .. I prefer a better spring than shimming . Finally good gains from the valve .. removing filter , drilling co2 piercer etc. Is your gun standard and what’s in the archer kit ? I could probably tell you the easiest way to get to 18flb …. Approximately 😉. I’m really no expert but just did virtually everything I could although there a few more tweaks to go . Some things work in isolation and sone don’t if you know what I mean . Anyway tell me about your gun and the “the Archer “ I’ll send some pics of mine if you want and some chrono. results next time I load it up 🤞. Oh and if you didn’t know already ambient temperature makes a BIG difference to CO2 guns 👍

Can anyone tell me what power advantage the "full power valve" should bring? You can buy it, but nothing is said about the performance improvement. www.versandhaus-schneider.de/product_info.php/products_id/36263

It takes one special brand of fucktard to shoot pellet guns in the living room. Look at the outlet behind his cardboard box backstop! lol Holy shit what a mong. You need a leash buddy. Also lead pellets don't ricochet dumbass.

Where did you get the two inch steel disc? I taped together 6 Lids from those large cans and it makes a nice Target but does not have as good of a sound as the solid steel.

  • @MrPolymers

Nice, but you need to build a target box out of 1/2 inch particle board like I did. Plus, I guess you don't have a basement as it looks like you live in Florida. I place various targets in my target box and I can get to around 45 feet away. All my shots, even the ones that miss, are contained in my box. My wife would kill me if I were shooting towards a finished wall. Good luck..

What pressure are you shooting your QB 78S at to get 33 fpe with 18.1 JSB .22 pellets. That is 900 fps. I shoot mine at 1500 psi and cannot equal that. Did you do other mods and make a video of it? Thanks.
