Smart, I’ll add this to my routine. I currently do Official Time Trials everyday as a routine to get my consistency levels up without any off track incidents. I’m not doing too bad as last season was my first season in iRacing and I placed 3rd in 3 series divisions 2nd in 2 series divisions and 1st in 2 series division for season 3. I’ve got 3 months in and it’s really been paying off. It’s cool to have certificates awarded to you from iRacing that’s a nice touch in my opinion.

say the brake mark is 100meters, the question is, is the 100 the point where we reach peak or "start" braking? wheter fast or slow ramp up depending on the car

It's where we start braking. I've heard people say you can also use braking references for when you peak the brakes, but I've never really understood the idea of it. You could start applying the brakes 50 meters before the braking board, and peak your brakes at the 100 board. This is an exaggerated example, but the main flaw with using braking references for peak brakes that I have is that you don't know when to apply them, only when to peak them. That's why I pretty much avoid them all the time.

@@fahadsayyedracing is there such thing as turn in point just as the same as brake point? if yes what do we use? gears?rpm? markers more closer to the corners?(50m for example) and other references?

Yes, there is also a thing as a turn in point. Usually, I use RPMs at (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.) gear. But I also use physical references for when I turn in, like curbs, braking boards, etc.

@@fahadsayyedracing brother what should we consider if theres really not so much stuff for braking reference? for good example interlagos turn 12 and braking before turn 8, youre just blind in these corners and for me i rely solely on feeling and muscle and mind memory

If there's nothing you can use as a reference, keep braking there until you get it perfectly. And then look at the replay in cockpit cam and see if there's anything that aligned with when you braked. If there's absolutely nothing, then you'll have to use muscle memory to get it every lap. Hope this helped ❤️
