Yeah to say the N64 didn't stand a chance against the PS1 is a bit much. The N64 dominated the 3D games world. Sony had the RPGs and a few shooters and horror games. N64 has the multiplayer gold and honestly was so damn much more powerful. Just less memory

I replayed ALL of SA2B in preparation for shadow generations. When playing shadow gen. It felt SOOO natural and honest to the SA games. Modern platforming is probably one of the least catered to genre rn, but when its done right its done RIGHT

I really don't like the wii that much either, i mean it's great console and have some pretty good games, however my main problem with the console are the cables (cuz it has soo many) the pointer, 90% of the wii games have motion controls and most of them dosen't even respond or work well, the baterries, has some bullshit here and there

The Astrobot games brought me here😊 There's a lot of references to Ape Escape in that game and it made me curious. I wish they would make a collection of all the main games with upgraded graphics and performance for a new generation I definitely try them out.

PlayStation in general is very overrated compared to the competition. Nintendo always innovates in a unique way, xbox always focuses on services and specs. What does Sony have? Greed.

i had a black DS lite - the DPAD and shoulder buttons broke - then i got a red one - that one i sold some time after that. i re-bought a DS lite and a DSI XL

i never had any playstation console. i don't really care for the exclusives, i never seemed to have cared even back then. i know my cousin has/had a playstation 2. i think there were good reasons the playstation 2 peaked and ... is? was? ... it's one of if not THE best selling console ever. i think there's good reasons behind it even if you or me don't understand or get it. so - even if we don't seem to see the appeal, i wouldn't say it's overrated if my point still stands with it being the best selling console ever. something must have worked for most and for good reasons, i bet.

my short answer to this: yes! i am super greatful emulation exists. i can play retro games. period. you can't do that very efficiently anymore without it, i feel. i found this nice middle ground between emulating games - but dumping my own ROMs as much as i feasably can. it's nice~

Only sports games I like are NASCAR and Formula 1 but those might not count.

While I mainly buy games physically, I think emulation is clearly the logical way to go. Plus there exists a middle ground when it comes to stuff like multicarts which allow you to still use the original hardware. Also from the standpoint of preservation it's absolutely necessary.

Eyy, nice to see this video finished. One of my favorite aspects of emulation is being able to try a game I want before I buy it. I wouldn’t have gotten Chibi Robo had I not spent some time with it on Dolphin first.
