What an awesome initiative! This is great man. I definitely think it will have an impact on your marketing and clientele. I like the choice of no haze. It would detract from the realness of the gym. You guys walked a really fine line between spa and fitness. Not an easy task. My only thoughts would be to break up the three walking entrance shots that were all filmed from behind. I like the door open from behind, the courtyard could switch to a 3/4 shot from in front of subject then back to behind her for the next entrance. This is a cool example of how without adding too much tech, you can actually really improve the quality of what you're delivering - very cool to see and one more point, a good production cart makes such a difference in terms of both how easy it is to move around the location, but also how professional and neat you appear to the clients. I have 2 questions. What's the boom mic you're using for these outside shots? Looking for a new mic right about now, so keen to hear what people are using. And what brand/models of belt pouches do you use and what's in them? Would be cool to see a breakdown video of this.

you are not making the light source any bigger with the diff frame , looks about the same or smaller than the umbrella , re Vlogging set up , its softer because your making the source closer to the you ,the subject , if you move the umbrella light in to the same position , the light will have the same softness and quicker to set up as no need for the diff frame .

Hey before you insulate, the first thing you should do is unbolt the bulkhead just a little bit to create a gap. Run a silicon bead into the gap where the bulkhead touches anything else and then tighten the bolts back down. HUGE difference. Then in areas that aren’t full of cutouts you can put inexpensive sound deadening mat. My van bulkhead is darn near silent.

I just bought two FS7 II camera packages, each with XDCA back for less then $1500 but you might want to re-think your FX30 comparison. ua-cam.com/video/aaluyKtpskw/v-deo.html

Score! I recently bought a 600D Pro, the biggest light I have now. I was doing it with the iFootage 320DN as my key, which is a great light for the price, a 60DN, and also bought a 220BNA to have a bicolor option. Have some Neewer 960 panels too. Got the 600D Pro when a job that called for a nice big soft key came up. Went for the 600D Pro over the 600X to save a few bucks, and maximize output, though I think that's kind of moot in a real world use case. Also couldn't make up my mind about the whole green magenta shift thing in the bicolor lights. Figured one big daylight fixture was just fine, and could be gelled if needed. Very happy with the 600d Pro, it got the job done and will be a great tool to have on hand! Now the 1200X is announced, I will for sure get one of those next. If/when they put the Blair engine in the 600, 300, 120, and 60 sized lights, I will be going all in on that.
