Is there a difference though between non resident and non "tax" resident? LIke if you're a nomad? I am a non resident but still have a bank account in Canada. They still approved it.
Having a bank account in Canada is a factor that can be considered a residential tie to Canada: Here is a website that highlights being a non-resident of Canada. It is important to seek tax advise to ensure you meet all tax obligations: www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services/tax/international-non-residents/individuals-leaving-entering-canada-non-residents/non-residents-canada.html
Can they takeoff that direction
You work for 40yrs to have $1M in your retirement, meanwhile some people are putting just $10K in a bitcoin from just a few months ago and now they are multi millionaires..🇺🇸.
Hello How are you earning such monthly? I was born a Christian, and sometimes I feel down on myself because of low finances, but I still believe I can still make it someday. As a beginner how do I go about investing into Crypto!.

Citizen by investment! These people must go to haiti and invest, get out of my country.
Why do none of these caribean countries have access to Mexico?
Caribbean citizenship attractive 👍 Nice explainer
What is the waiting time for antigua and barbuda citizenship, once you file?
Less woke!! I'm in love!
Thank you Jennifer. I appreciate the information you give and the efforts you put into your videos
You should mention that citizenship can't be inherited by your future children without approval and additional fees .
Ciitzenship can be passed down by descent. For some programs the fee is very minimal whereas others it is a bit more costly. All citizens need to be registered and then once registered you can apply for the passport.
Does St. Kitts offer a package for families?
Yes - it does! You can reach out at: jennifer@jhmarlin.com
Thanks for mentioning the delays for St Lucia!
Sadly it’s slow right now, but we are continuing to get approvals.
Nice new video graphics!
Thanks Roger 😊
They aren't expats. They're immigrants.
How's the cost of living? Wats the cost of necessity ?
Do they have a crypto community?
After da election. I have to do this asap
Good work Jennifer 😎👍🏼
Thank you
If you're getting paid in CI the prices are not much different in Cayman than most other small islands in the region. As for "Island Time", Grand Cayman seems to be one of the most efficient islands when it comes to getting things done. And Health City, they don't want to just be the best hospital in the region; Health City wants to be the best hospital in the western hemisphere!
Great information. I’d also be interested in which Caribbean nations have the best infrastructure - airports, roads, internet, etc.
Thank you. Good info. What do you think about Dominica specifically as they say it is the least developed?
Dominica is great! If you're thinking about moving anywhere, boots on the ground research & networking is best way to get a feel for any place you might consider relocating to.
I have a question. assume i got the Portugal residency card in July 2024. Do i have to stay 7 days minimum first year (i.e. by July 2025) and then 14 days from July 2025 to July 2026 for a total of 21 days, or can i stay 14 days in first year and satisfy requriement until July 2026?
I think I’ve been to the house where you’ve made your video. There’s a patio, pool, and a view of Redonda in the distance. Wish you’d shown more

I’m moving to Thailand mainly because of the political climate and I’m sick and tired of paying taxes on everything and the government continues to come up with more ways to tax us. I don’t even feel free in this country anymore.
Millions?
Since they go off census data, it's every ten years, but yea, in 2005, 29.3 million moved. By 2019, it was up to 40 million
The corruption of money and capitalism. Doesn't matter where you go the world lives in modern oppression with incentivized slavery. People run from one problem to the next not realizing corruption is global. The most wealthy people in this world have a foothold in every plan A,B and C locations you go. Americans just need to root out the corruption and end capitalism in the country living in oppression and slavery. I believe the world needs to disconnect from each other. Countries need to focus on healing and repairing the damage of climate change. Independent awareness need to be top priority to maintain stability of each person. Back to the roots without cost of living. Solar power provides and growing your own food sustains life without dependency. The economy must shut down to the basic survival to restructure independence for the people. We put everything we are as human beings into trade and supply chains and if it fails billions will suffer while chaos spreads. We are not that smart if we allowed this to happen. The human race has become fragile and dependent. The corruption from governments must end and fulfill its obligation to the people. There should not be incentivized slavery or capitalism. There is no need for money, barter or trade if we use common sense. Restore independence and restore nature. Climate change and oppression with cost of living and dependency is the threat humanity is facing. Anyone who is affecting the safety and security of the people should face justice. We have to root out the corruption and restructure governments to manage the modern world with care. Reduction in activity and reflection on how we live and interact with each other is a priority. Money and investing is corruption that has chained us all to life for servitude. This is not an intelligent use of life or resources. We need immediate change. No cost of living and appropriate security of the people without prejudice.
Great video
Where is Andrew Henderson of nomad? When you need him 😂 Jennifer, you sound like you’re reading from a teleprompter really really fast you’re very live and you’re A little weak in emphasizing what’s important in following this process and perhaps hinting with the challenges might be And you don’t really mention Mexico or Columbia, where you have a lot more Americans going to live
if you want to escape socalism in the US why the F would you go to europe
massssssive immigrations creates massssive inflation
The cheapest way to get a second passport is through citizenship by descent, although that process is quite slow and it may take you a few years. Many people qualify for this and don't really know it because they don't investigate their family trees and research whether they qualify.
Mexico is the #1 country where most Americans flee to!
I've been working on my Hindi as I intend to leave the US and live in India. I never saved any money. I worked all my life hand to mouth. Now, I have nothing but my Social Security to live on and that's 1300 a month. So, I can move in to a shoe box under the bridge and beg at traffic lights in the US or live a middle class life in India.
I do not want to renounce citizenship, as well as most of these people that are moving. We still want our SS which we paid into for decades. Yes if you make a lot of money you can afford to renounce and it would be to your advantage. Health insurance, or care in other countries is FAR less expensive and the US does not want you to know this. And more countries are safer in general than the US. I have visited one and plan to go back eventually.
You won't lose your SS when you renounce if you paid into it for 40 quarters (exactly 10 years) or more. You can still collect it and they will even deposit it into a foreign account for you.
Still don't have to renounce it. Just get dual citizenship. As for taxes, for most countries, you will just have to file your taxes but not actually pay if the US has agreements with the other country, i.e., most European countries. Because you're already paying into their tax system. Just make sure you file.
Can a descendant also get the passport after the child is born?
Fantastic overview Jennifer. You bring up many great points.
Is Jennifer single?
Excellent overview Jennifer.

The D7 visa caused far more of a real estate bubble than the golden visa ever did, but it is far easier to demonize people who have been able to accumulate assets than it is to take stock of the fact that you individually have not been able to make as much as others are making, you haven't figured out how to compete.
