Baby Ace View From Tailwheel 5.30.21
Переглядів 993 роки тому
Cool view from a gopro mounted on the tailwheel leaf spring... taxi, takeoff, a bit of putzing around over the farmland, a low pass between some tress, and then two wheel landings and one stall landing. I sure do like this view! The little flapping thing on the right side is a rubber band that's attached to a small pull-out piece of tubing that can be used to lift the tail for ground maneuverin...
50 second video of my Baby Ace Landing at ASW on 5.23.21
Переглядів 1503 роки тому
Here are some details I really enjoy in this scene: the airplane shadow in the field as I turn base-to-final, the prop looking 'normal' because I use a dark polarizing filter on the gopro to force to aperture to open more (I hate the freaky props in videos!), the car on the road that passes almost right under me, the shadow in the morning sun on the runway before touchdown, and the fact that I ...
Baby Ace 5.8.21 Windshield Check

I recently made and installed a .093 polycarbonate windshield, and I was giving it a bit of a flex test while flying... all is good : )
I love this Baby Ace!

My first wheel landing in the Baby Ace, and without a windshield
Переглядів 2123 роки тому
I removed the old cracked n scratched acrylic windshield from this Baby Ace I bought recently (it was built in 1993) and I thought I'd see what it's like flying it without the windshield. I decided to make it my first wheel landing in it too... it's only the 6th landing since I bought it, and I have almost 4 hours in it now. LOVE this airplane!
Baby Ace keep-it-down-low departure

1959 Piper Super Cub stall landing in the grass

Currently 4 hours into flying this Super Cub since I completely restored it, and I love landing on the grass! Pretty cool when you can see the tires kicking up loose grass clippings well before you see it finally start turning : )

Great looking and flying Baby Ace. Really like your tailwheel I saw in one of yother video's. I just purchased my second Ace here after thirty years from the first one. It's a model D and has a c85 in it. Keep your video's going, really enjoy them.

Nothing beats a Baby Ace for fun. My dad started building a D model in the early '60's. It flew in 1977 and provided us with much fun till he sold it in 1985. My last adventure was delivering it from Kansas City to Bristol,TN. I follow the facebook page and would love to build one but not sure my arthritis would allow me to climb in and out. You said it in the video, no reason to sell it because it won't make you rich but you would be giving up one of the funnest flying toys imaginable. Last winter I built a set of wing ribs off my dad's original rib jig, not giving up yet.

Nice Baby Ace Martt ... my Baby Ace that I had years ago also had the sharp leading edge. The Ace I have now has both upper and lower leading edge covered in aluminum with out the sharpe edge. Fly's the same as the old one. They are fun airplanes.

Do you know how to upload GPX maps to your watch? Even when they are thrown on the phone, ZEPP does not search for them, if I use other programs such as total commander, which offers other applications to open the GPX file, ZEPP is not there.

I Have had one for a month the strape sucks and you can't change it.Blood pressure and breathing apps do not work.Tracking is still spotty after the updates. The battery life is good

I've had mine over a month and the strap still feels perfect to me, it's extremely comfortable. This watch doesn't do blood pressure, and my heart rate and blood oxygen work great. For the money, I think it's an awesome watch, especially because it looks amazing.

Hello I have a problem. I updated my T Rex2 yesterday. Since then, it doesn't record my calories. Do you know what the problem is? It only measures my calories when I activate it to train, in normal mode everything is the same.
