Casino brought me here. RIP to a legend that influenced me to get on that piano.
GRATITUDE!!!❤
I first heard this on the way to Georgia from Florida. My eldest son learned it on piano we loved it so much.
Love this song! Makes me dance and move...so smooth! One of the best music to dance to at our high school dances. Only the dancers with soul and good smooth moves could dance to this song. 😂 Rest in Peace Eddie!! Your music lives on!!

2025 still listening, always will❤️
This is nothing short of a live jazz masterpiece which still resonates today, lyrically, musically, philosophically, and poetically. These Jazz old schoolers could school any pop new schoolers up, down, in between you name it.
Thank you loved it 😊

I don’t know how many times I’ve listened to this set, contorting, dancing, singing, flowing with the music. It plays in my head when I’m not listening to it. I can’t pick any particular one from the set, they’re all unique, they all move me, and make me move, they all take me places. My children are young, but they Love it too… they thank me for playing them good music from birth, “not the other stuff”… my youngest is trapped by “Second Movement” these days, he plays it over and over, you know how it is: he’s assimilating it, it’s becoming part of his DNA (which is pretty cool, I think). We’ll never have bands like these again, there are no people like these anymore.
Released in 63 not the 70’s
Best song ever. Pure maleness.

This should be the American National Anthem.
Always considered Eddie Harris to be one the most underrated tenor saxophonists (or just saxophonists) in jazz history. This was a beautiful solo, by any standard of measurement.
This is AMERICA!!
❤❤
Great song, don't appreciate the blasphemy though!
I was 22 and year 2 of my first real job!
Miss Ella Fitzgerald showing up fashionably late at 3:07 , front and center. This is the magic of Montreux.
