Lap of Mt Panorama - Top Gear it aint
On a driving holiday went for a lap of the Mt. Panorama Raceway, at Bathurst NSW, Australia. As the track is also a public road, the traffic laws are to be obeyed, and that means no speeding or taking a raceline. You need to stay on the left.
Think with that effort, the presenters from Top Gear have no fear of losing their jobs. But in my defence, it was done in wet conditions.

The ABC (Australian public broadcaster) program, Media Watch reviewed the controversy over the Chaser's War On Everything's Make A Realistic Wish skit. Anyone ever know who this narrator is. He turns up on a lot on newsreels and archival films over the decades? STOP looking, it's Kevin Golsby from The Naked Vicar Show. And as of June 2024 is still alive and well at 89.

Oh, get over it. Comedy has no limits as far as I’m concerned. Y’all cancelled Jimmy Carr over his Netflix special, and way before that, basically cancelled The Chaser before cancel culture was a thing over a dark joke with amazing delivery. All you demented people getting offended over this are BEYOND HELP and you need to be put down like dogs because if we keep doing this sick society s**t, society won’t last another 5 years. What do I know, though?

The sketch was fantastic. It was a lot less "painful" than say, a kid dying from cancer. There's crew out there that seem to put horror and taking the piss out of horror on the same level of unacceptability. That's painful.

I loved it like being back in the Army marching and saluting why I showed those screws how a Rhodesian soldier can parade. I marched into the Supers office snapped to attention and saluted that mother fucker standing on his white line I then told him what i thought about the Australian judicial system. He said escort this man to SOBS he must be mad. I will see him in a week. Next week same thing but he put me in general population saying he respected where I was coming from whatever that meant. On the way back one of the screws said he likes you or you would be in the black hole. I said I could not care less as i would be getting out one day and I did. Crap I digresses sorry my good man.

Out of all the prison Ive been in Queensland NUMBER ONE DIVISON BOOGO RD was the best it was so open and you could see everything I miss driving up to the main gates in a police paddy wagon and waiting for the gates to open and seeing screws on the towers with guns real old school then drive in gates they close and the police gets out puts his gun in a locker gives the guard the inmate list gets checked hops back in and waits for the next gate to open and the first thing you see is the oval with tennis courts on the left and it was at that point you realize your in a prison built for a school of truly hard knocks I miss lunch times every Fridays I would save up my apples and throw them from K wing into M wing at all the protection and kiddy f#$*kers while the screw had his back turned on the tower. Watched Dances with wolves at Boggo Road I bet not many people knew it had a movie theater we watched that movie the same time we put in for Wally Lewis statue
