    38:50 it was your decision in the start, to leave some trees behind for seedling, that caused this situation. You should just have clear cut it all and built that damn to get to the other trees across the river. I´ve been sitting with the question, why your so timid here at the start, where you have to go hard, to secured that water for the fist drought.

      Holding some trees back in reserve for emergency keeps me from accidently building beyond my means. Sure, I may not have been "completely" ready for the first drought, but we definitely weren't hurting too bad xP

      @@ShadowsBlight the first drought might not have hurt badly, but it still hurt you and the second one hurt you a lot, that´s where you lost half your beavers and it hampered you a lot, making up for that loss took you nearly 3 cycles.

    27:30 you can try use overhang. you have one space in irigation. rebuild and change entrance lido so you can put stair and still get access to both or just demolish one. place platform in that irigation then over hang overhang on the top. after that build new or replace tapersack and maybe forester at overhang. remove one tree to place stair. few stair each direction for better access. don't forget check area before and after place building. make sure not build under your waterfall. hope this can help you. no need close so you can still can see bever play with lido. anyway about water source, it just my thinking. because you force water to the top for power with bad and fresh water. sluice in the bottom is useless and spliting in the front is really great choice. nice building. keep going... : )

      Great idea! That space is definitely not being used since the sluice keeps the area irrigated :) I’ll definitely give that a try for another tapper shack!     I'm a bit late, but catching up on this great series! Loving it as ever. Your issue with selecting the metal scavenger flags reverting back to bio beavers... I would guess that it was because they weren't connected to a district when you first set them. Then when you connected them to the district (filling that gap on the path) it set them to the district default.

    Was so happy to see the aquaduct in action, it was also very sweet to see how fond you became, when you saw it in action. I was wondering if you are gonna do an overhaul of the city now that you have way more things unlocked and access to layering. You can fx. layer on top of a dam, or vice versa? No matter what, I am looking forward to seeing what you are gonna do next.

      I’m stoked that you enjoyed the chaos! I was definitely excited about seeing the fruits of our labor finally pay off :) As for what’s next, I think I have a plan for what’s next. This time, I think I’m going to think a bit more smartly about it though, instead of building haphazardly xP I hope it turns out half as well as I’m imagining it will :)

    You don’t need to double the bot factories to add the extra bot assembler. 3 bot factories will supply 2 bot assemblers with all the parts they need assuming they can all get the required supplies.

    so from what i can tell it does look like beavers at the crossing will retrieve and deliver supplies so having a depot of "obtain" or "supply" storage where haulers can dump/grab right by the crossing should make it more efficient. the crossing also has a ton of stuff set to always supply by default so ticking some of them off can help as well. also it wasn't until today when i was playing that i realized you can have power enter underneath buildings from the upshaft -_-

      If you don't have haulers, you can't use obtain or supply (you'll get an error that the building requires haulers). However, if you only have one or two storages for each item type, the crossing workers will keep them filled just fine.

    Regarding your three-tier power-generating aqueduct: the first tier will be fed water through the sluices you built at the same height as the floor of that tier. How will you feed water into the second tier? If your plan was to mimic what you did on the first tier, please carefully examine the pertinent area within the structure to ensure that you have in fact included sluice gates in the correct position. The sooner you check this, the fewer potential construction headaches you'll face down the road. Sincerely, FunWithDrums

      The plan is, once those tiers are complete, lock the one sluice gate closed on tier one and allow that to feed up to tier 3. Tier 3 has an open feed to tier 2 after the power wheels and the same thing for tier 2 to tier 1 :) thanks for looking out! I’ll be sure to go over the plan a bit more thoroughly next episode :)

    A month old so it's a bit moot and you may have figured it out yourself already, but: at 55:55 when you're planning out a potential badtide diversion there's a solution that doesn't need to wait for triple floodgates. With the 3d water physics you can put levies on top of platforms and then single floodgates directly in front of or behind the platforms, which lets the water out from the bottom when their open and blocks it to whatever height you build the levies to when it's closed.

    I'm a little behind the curve on this, but I lost track of this series for a bit. I'm just catching up. I just ran the numbers on food item the other day. Potato, Spadderdock, and Chestnut all have their food cycles match up per tile at 24 days. With Spadderdock and Chestnut making 18 final food items and Potato making 16. However it's worth noting that Potato processes to cooked food faster. So if you have less space, you're better off using Spadderdock or Chestnut to make your food as you get more food per tile of land. On the other hand if you have lots of land you can make more food faster with Potato. Extra caveat there though, is that in 12 days Potato and Carrots have their cycles match up, and for total food made, Carrots are just a little better. In 12 days you get 9 Carrots that are ready to eat. In the same 12 days you get 2 Potatoes that can be made into 8 Grilled Potatoes. So that's less food and requires an extra step to make them edible. Lastly there's Cattail Crackers and Bread, which both come out to be about the same for production time vs ending food. Cattail Crackers may have a slight advantage over Bread, but it's by a small enough margin that I'm not going to bother figuring it out.

    This map would make excellent use of watertowes at the springs with sluices to get the badwater out and an extensive aqueduct network. For badwater diversion you only need a sluice or two and levees.
