Thank you for all these videos! Is it possible to remove one set of lights from the cue and not the sequence? When i try to remove the selected lights with the selected parameter, it does not remove it from the cue for me unless I do the entire sequence

1:08:30 i know this is a few years old but i'm stuck. If i press the cue button until cue 3 is active, then use my edit shortcut, a popup window appears that says "Master.Cue 1". I dont want to edit cue 1. If i don't press edit, and instead select all vipers, go to color, delay, add a delay, then press update, im prompted to update cue 1. Additionally, if I do update cue 1, all my settings are removed for all cue numbers. The only thing that seems to work is to select cue no 3, update the delay, and store it into cue no 3. Thats something you said you haven't tried shortly before this section. Did something change? I wanna make sure I have a complete understanding

Potentially stupid question... Where do those recipes you're putting into cues actually go? Like what pool are they in? Are they just inside the sequence and only inside the sequence? Unless I'm mistaken there's no actual recipe pool right? My basic understanding was that previously recipes were presets that you converted into recipes, then placed into cues. So we can just skip that step entirely now? What about cooking when changing fixtures and selection grids? Does this also mean we no longer have to cook a bunch of receipe presets?

This is a game changer feature! will definitely speed up my programming time with recipes while still allowing the easiness of so said cloning with grandma3

im still didnt get why i need theese recepies, everyone saying it would make touring easier, but if i have my regular sequences with preset info, i just update the presets and thats all, all my sequences updated automatically. They inventing something new but all old things are still not in the schedule. MA3 software is 5 years old for now, and so many things is missing from MA2, which people were using for years.

FoA nice video, but i don’t get the point of using recipes like that. Cause if you build your cues like that with the editor , you could just build it with your presets like normal and store it into a cue. What are the advantages?

Great video, and great to see you back! This is a really cool feature, as I’ve transitioned to strictly recipes in my programming. Question… what happens if you try to program a manual value while in recipe editor? Example, say I select a group and preset, then use an encoder to make an adjustment such as increase tilt, or adjust a color? And an unrelated comment about the multiple presets stacking... they really should have made it (at least an option) to automatically knock out other presets if you select another within the same category. I know that can get tricky because you might have different attributes within the same category and you may WANT to stack (example separate zoom and focus presets within the z/f pool, or you may have one present that sets a CTO parameter to zero while you have another for RGB values)… but I think there be a way to make it an option or at least a warning if you don’t want to select multiple similar presets, without having to go back and fix.

The only thing missing is a markers to recipe function.. Looking at you #Cuepoints

When I do the clone it only affects the destination spot I choose not the other fixtures even tho the source fixture is stored as selective
