Yes dimes ring up around 25.silver dimes around 27

What shovel is that you’re using??

It's a mini shovel I got from harbor freight and modified for metal detecting.

Yea was giving a higher reading cause the coins were together.

Not planted, mini metal detector is called a pinpointer,used for pinpointing exact location after Big metal detector located. There is related video.

Real find not every channel is fake lol. Good find brotha!

Nice, What did your silver ring ring up high 20's ? Just curious

@@RJCDetecting It rang up a 22-23 on the Vanquish but, a lot of times they sound like zinc pennies or aluminum twist tops.

I picked it up awhile back on eBay. I was looking for a leather sheath for my dig tool and I liked the way it looked.would of preferred without the pinpointer loop but it works.

@@RJCDetecting I did think about making a channel but not sure if I have the time for all of that. I just got back into detecting in September of 2022. Since then I have about 20 silver rings, 7-8 gold rings, a few gold pendants, probably about 20 silver charms and pendants, 4 or 5 silver chains, a few silver and gold earrings and countless clad coins all with the Vanquish 440. Your treasures will come 👍

You just never know if its gold or not. Pennys also ring up 20, 21. Gold has a wide range of numbers it can ring up in. I have found gold rings with a vdi of 8- 10

Thanks, I am using the equinox 600 in this video. I have three machines at the moment the equinox 600, Vanquish 440, and a Tekenetics gamma 6000. I found a token with the gamma 6000 several years ago. I could never really get a solid I'd on what type it was. It said the mecca inc 5 cent on it.

Right on, what machine do you use ? Yea I always get a lot of clad wish I could find silver all the time like I see these other guys posting.

@@RJCDetecting I use the Vanquish 440. You will need to be on old ground to find the silver coins. I have tons of old ground where I live in New York but I don't chase the silver coins but, I have found some. There are also resources you can use to find older sites like historic aerial's, old map works.

Just got back from swinging for a little over an hour got more clad and another silver ring 😁

@@RJCDetecting I found it at my local high school, but that's not my oldest coin I found there . I found 3 Indian Head pennies there also oldest one being a 1864 or 65 can't remember

It's a harbor freight shovel I bought and modified. I cut it to shape with a angle grinder and notched the sides.

@RJCDetecting I have a cheap pudbie pinpointer that only picks up stuff that is basically on top. Will have to look into getting the mi-4.

Yea a good pinpointer speeds up recovery time dramatically. Garrett also makes some very good pinpointers. Might want to check them out to
