[Ingredients]
Yakisoba
・Chinese noodles … 1 ball (230g)
・Cabbage ・・・ 2 Sheets
・Carrot ・・・ 1/4
・Pork ・・・ 100g
・Worcestershire sauce …1.5 tablespoons
・Soy sauce ・・・ 1/2 tablespoon
・Salt and pepper … a little
・Water (for steaming noodles) 2 tablespoons
topping
・Nori powder … appropriate amount
・Red ginger pickles … appropriate amount
[Recipe]
1. Preparation of ingredients
・Cabbage...Tear into bite-sized pieces by hand
・Carrots…cut into strips (approx. 1cm)
・Mix soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce.
2. Stir-fry the pork. (Do not use oil; use fat from the pork)
3. Add vegetables and stir-fry together.
4. Place the Chinese noodles and water, cover with the lid and lightly steam fry.
5. Remove the lid, loosen the noodles with chopsticks, and mix with the ingredients.
6. Pour Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce and mix everything together.
7. Adjust the taste with salt and pepper.
8. Arrange the Yakisoba on a plate and top with seaweed powder and red ginger pickles.

    I am going to make these for my son, he is 16 and salmon sushi is his favorite. I have tried to do the rolls, but mine never turn out good. This looks more to my skill level.

      To make smooth red bean paste (koshian), use a colander and a spatula. Put the red bean paste in a colander and mash it with a spatula.

    I love anything strawberry, I have only had the mochi with red bean paste and with ice cream, as that is what I can find in our Asian market. Wish they had these.

      In Japan, you can buy teppanyaki plates at home improvement stores, but I don't know where they are sold in other countries. sorry. But you can also make okonomiyaki in a frying pan!

      The difference between "Modanyaki" and "Okonomiyaki" is whether or not there are noodles. However, there is also ``Okonomiyaki'' with noodles, so please wait a little while I draw an illustration. Post the explanatory illustration to the UA-cam community.

    Thanks for the recipe. Just a note: We don't read "1/2" as "one by two", but as "half" (so "half an egg per person", for example). Similarly, 1/4 is "one quarter" or "a quarter", 1/3 is "one third" and 1/8" is "an eighth".

    Thanks for the recipe. I'm gonna make it this night as my wife bento for tomorrow she is a 3th grade teacher and I make her lunch every day. Maybe you can make a video with a 5 days bentos so I can make it for my beautiful wife? Thanks again because I love Japanese food and specially home made ones.     A question: how common are beef and egg in sushi rolls in Japan? I've never encountered nor heard of either being used.

      Thank you for your question. In Japan, there is a type of sushi roll called "futomaki." There are various types of ``futomaki'', and one of the most popular in ordinary households is egg and beef.
