Replaced the Toyota Wiper Switch to one with Intermittent and Mist!
Land Cruiser 79 - Our Toyota came with the basic wiper switch. It only had Slow and Fast speeds wipers and Mist that did not engage the wipers. I always had to turn the wiper on and off during light rain & and on and off during mist. Not convenient to say the least. I replaced it with an intermittent speed adjuster and mist that enabled the wipers to come, cycle about 3 times, and turn off.
The Toyota part number I used was 84652-02610. This part has graphics on the switch. You can also use 84652-02710, it's the same exact part except this one has "words" instead of the graphics.
This switch is compatible with any 70 series Landcruiser from 2007 until 2023 with no rear wiper. It is also compatible with over 240 different variants of Toyotas including 2009 thru 2013 models from the below.
Camry/Camry Hv
Corolla
Solara
Tacoma
Tundra
Please remove yours first to ensure it looks similar, especially the pins at the bottom. I

I‘m guessing those spacers are Polyurethane? How are they holding up? Would you recommend going with steel ones or ist PU fine so far? Great Video, my W163 has Similar mods and i am looking forward to doing much more.
The owner used polyurethane on the left side and metal on the right side since the metal is half inch and the polyurethane is 1 in. For some reason the left and the right were different and the only way to make it work is to use different sizes. They have been holding up very well. What made the biggest difference is using the Eibach 800 lbs springs. We have not made the video for this upgrade yet. Though the 750 lbs springs would work too. However, the bolt slots need to be elongated to be able to correct the camber.
@@offgridnomads377 thanks for letting me know! I'm also going with a combination of stiffer springs (generic HD, cheapest I could find) and PU spacers. Bolt slots should be just long enough since I am only going with 20 mm.
👍🇦🇲
Must be nice having tools & a shop
@@highlightedcomment The owner used his home garage.
Nice video! What the overall length of your rig?
@@bajaguy1280 Thank you, it is 570 cm or about 18 ft.
So refreshing hearing Armenian, with nice rigs, in the outdoors. I have a troopy in the LA area. Would love to join you!
@@themaker959 Parev! thank you! That would be great to have you with us and also see the lovely troopy.
I love the look I get when on the trail in my ML500 .

I made some lifechanging decisions at that lake. Have been there in both my 62 and 100 series. Absolutely in love with you 70
Thank you! Many of us did the same up there. Love the 60 and the 100s! Dont mind having a 105 one day.
How was the weather morning and night?
Night was very cool. About 10 degrees Celius, 50 F. During the day was warm and the sun will get you. Sun screen and hats are a must-have, about 23 Celcius, 74 F.
@@offgridnomads377 did u need a heater at night?
@@damiansmith391No not at all, we did not need a heater. For those of us who slept in ground tents did not either. A nice sleeping bag did the trick.
Hi, thank you for nice details. Well done buddy
You are welcome and thank you for subscribing.
What tire size are you using?
@@RichardVac hello Richard these are 285 70 17
Great video! Fun places to explore. I wish we could get the 70 series here in US.
@@Johno530 thank you, appreciate you watching it. Hope one day the US will get the 70.
How'd that alignment go? I had a crazy amount of negative camber with 30mm spacer from Tema and OEM replacement struts. I'm not sure if they preloaded the upper control arms before setting down. I'm assuming this can happen in the front too after torsion bar lift?
@@SenorReso Yes it can happen on the fronts too. Currently have -1.5 camber on the fronts. One of these days may want to elongate the adjustment slots to get a bit less negative camber.
Dude stop ruining the spots. Sure make a video but leave the names out. 5 years ago you wouldn’t see a single person up there. Now it’s littered with overlanders thinking they’re cool while we drive up in 3/4 ton trucks no issue.
@@RuggedSportsmenthank you for the comment. Our intension is not to ruin places but to explore and share the beauty of the land.
I think you should be mad at onX and All Trails...Where they are going are not "Secret" it's just very accessible. Trust me, there are tons of better places than this in the Eastern Sierra.
Classic. What good times :-)
@@realitynuggets6204 thank you @realitynuggets6204
Love Coyote Flat! One of my favorites along 395! Great 70 series too 🙌
Thank you Ben!
I think you're shooting on your drone in DLOG which is good if you want to color grade, if not I would just shoot in normal
I was shooting cine too, did not know and h265 which made it choppy. I was wondering why. Thank you for the tip. Normal is easier for me.
Awesome video and Amazing trip
Glad to hear this is back open, one of my favorite trails in CA!
It sure is a very nice trail!
Good drive to Coyote Flat - Camped at about 10K feet or 3K meters. There were some interesting moments!
I pull a trailer behind my ML400 I am already 1´´ lower in the back then the front with the empty car. Time to replace the rear suspension, but not an easy task. I am looking for something which can hold much more weight, had a look at adjustable ones with pneumatics, but lots of people say they are not very reliable, lots of problems, on top of that I will load more then usual. There are several kits with pneumatic adjustment, but none works for Mercedes ML´s. If some of you figured something let me know.
Hi Ben, please reach out to sales@hst.global with your inquiry. He can assist you. Thanks
Beautiful Troopy! Lovely. That one is rom Germany, Tom's Fahrzeugtechnik, right?
Yes it is. Love to meet up in AZ.

Glad you like it!
Took a road called Perkinsville Road from Chino Valley, passed Perkinsville Bridge. Onto J.D. Dam lake, Sycamore point then Fernow Cabin (area) then back onto 89A. 2WD was fine all the way except for some deep mud areas.
I’m having trouble putting the ground wire that sits in the bulb holder back in. It looks like it tucks underneath the metal conceal but I’m not sure how to get it there. Any help would be great.
Snap à Pic of it and send it. Let me take a look.
I think some four wheeling instructions are in order of you could not get your ML through these areas.
My wife and I drove from Jerome, past the Perkinsville Bridge, up to Williams this past June. Looks like we missed you by a month or so. I love your video. Didn't know about the reducing air pressure in the tires trick (although my tires have nitrogen - would have cost to refill). Beautiful terrain, awesome vehicle. I would only suggest you use music that better fits the landscape. Safe travels my friend! ua-cam.com/video/9bdf_mwVVRU/v-deo.html

They are 285 75 16.
i just wonder , if something went wrong and u have a car breakdown , how would the way back home be like or would u ever see home again? i'm worried about Skopy...
Personally, skopy has a better chance finding his way back than we do :)
