That was pretty good. I don't normally watch other riders cam video but yours was really good and I was impressed how well the KLX ran. You were right on the leaders heals for a long while. Video quality was excellent too. I haven't been on a hare scramble in 30 years. Love to try it again in the old farts class.

Screw these unoriginal KLX300 “things I hate” videos. It’s all part of the same dumb circlejerk. They all start off with “don’t get me wrong, I love this bike” and then all talk about the same shit like the footpegs, gas light/gas tank, lack of power. Liked the video on the Kawasaki KLX 300 oil change but try doing your oil change outside to save your carpet and without resting the bike on its side .. Of course there are carpet cleaners and there are also oil pans made of plastic to collect the old oil when doing the bike’s oil change. Wishing you a great time and much fun riding safely out there. !!

Bought a 20x20x20 delivery bag on amazon that clips onto like a bbq grill type frame that you just zip tie to the tail. It fits everything i have come across. KLX300sm with that big bag is IMO the ultimate doordash vehicle.

I need one of these! I have a 1998 KTM 200 EXC, got it a few months ago and it is the first time I've had a bike since being a kid (15 years ago). It is a lot of fun, and it does remind me of the two strokes I had as a kid. But, now the nostalgia has worn off and I just want to ride a lot, and I am noticing a lot of the drawbacks of a carbureted 2-stoke from 1998. I smell like premix after riding, it sucks on the road, I'm always wondering when I'm going to have to rebuild the engine (no idea when it was done last), the ideal jetting changes in different weather, it gets terrible milage and range, plus you always have to have premix oil with you. And then there's the two stroke power deliver/touchy throttle in general, which is fun on easy terrain but kind of terrifying on technical stuff. It also has some headshake, which they are kinda known for. Plus, I never feel like I am riding to its potential (I'm not very good) It is a hell of a dirt bike but give me this low maintenance, EFI, smooth, comfortable beast any day!

I guess a lot of these guys are newer riders, always putting their feet down, when they should be on their pegs. You should go over your whole bike with "Thred-Lock" Blue before going back into the woods.

Japan bike, chances are it’s going to be pretty damn good. 1 in 4000 might have an issue. The chinese amazon garbage are iffy. 1 in five might be good.

Those aren't "trails". They're dirt roads. smoooth ones at that. A gravel bike could handle these without the bigger tires of a xc mountain bike.
