The Spider-Man figures are from the 1994 animated series. I had the same ones just without the additional gimmicks which would have come further in the run. I had a quick change Bruce Wayne. He just had clip on armour pieces.

Just started 12 in my marathon and I'm so happy that 12 is slowly becoming the standard for FF moving forward in terms of tone and story telling ☺️ the main team of this is working on XIV and the upcoming XVI! Also banger video loved the editing and script on display!

My favorite part of the original game is all the janky localization for the class names and abilities.

Just finished my first play through last night and oh man, what an ending! I actually stepped away from the game for over a year after putting in 75 hours haha, but I'm so glad I came back to it. Great video Joseph, I loved hearing your insight, and as always, your editing is truly top notch!

Yeah, the past few years I've really learned to be _content_ with where I am in life. Shedding that constant anxiety of feeling that I *need* to be improving or moving on to the next big life phase, and instead replacing it with the satisfaction of who I am and what I have _now_ has been wonderous. Congrats on finishing a thing you've put off! It's a difficult task for us ADHD peeps to actually reach an ending instead of rushing off to a dozen other beginnings.

one of my fav games. The devs had a lot of cool ideas, but maybe it was implemented in a poor or weak manner for example, a lot of the loot seemed too weak for me. Cup of Life giving you +4HP doesn't help that much...if they added another zero, think of how much more impactful those treasure items would be. like whoa duuuuude that's awesome! compared like oh, +4 STR? whatever bro, that's a tiny blip. same with Urns of Chaos changing your alignment in such a miniscule manner made it not even worth picking them up. Should have been Neutral > take a scroll of discipline > you go to Lawful > take another one > they you are 100% lawful. dragon/beast tamers & doll masters giving doggos, dragons & golems 10% buffs. but in game it doesn't feel like much. 25% or 50% could be overpowered? but at least it would incentivize people to utilize those 1x2 or 2x2 characters. maybe there's something wrong with me, but the opposing armies felt too weak. Ankiseth's unit alone could wipe 3 templar squads by himself before needing to heal. and the Lotus Empire was "supposed" to be stronger than the rebels you are commanding. there's supposed to be a 10% buff to the enemy when they are defending against your attack garrisoning inside a town or castle, but I don't feel it. the combat could be significantly improved if you had to scout & plan ahead. for example, if you have a knight wearing heavy plate armor, shield, helm, he performs very well vs physical attacks. literally, a 40 dam hit can be reduced to 8. but as soon as magical damage is added, the entire damage dealt is elemental and those armor buffs are negated. maybe this would slow combat down too much, but at least it would make equipment feel like they made a difference there was a level called Pita I think where you fight pure undead units. If you plan ahead and give virtue weapons, you deal extra dam vs those guys & wipe the floor cuz they'll be banished instead of reanimating. tactics like this would be really cool in changing how battles felt, but I think the devs did not take this concept to it's full potential. some fights were really memorial like fighting cockatrices & having your guys petrified. or facing that gorgon who can laser beam & turn your dudes into stone which forces you to whip out the hallowed shield and finally, the chaos frame & capturing/liberating cities thing was a mystery for me as a child. They could have revealed your chaos frame as a transparent metric, and same with luck, or squad unity. Amazing game, one of the best soundtracks up there with even Witcher 3

Hobbyshameing (a Tyler has spoken about previously). I think gatekeeping can be used with that as a polar opposite. Shameing being outsider bashing for what one like and enjoy spending their time on and gatekeeping being insider keeping potential new hobbysist from getting into the hobby. Maybe there is a small discussion that could be made about that?

Tyler’s video on hobby shaming was powerful and eloquently said. I cannot believe I’m using those words to describe him, but it was good stuff. Jk, Tyler, you da man! Have fun with it fellas!

Honestly, I like the idea of a facetious panel of "how to approach a new hobby" by giving the worst advice possible - how to successfully gatekeep, spending all available income to acquire everything you want right away, irresponsible ways to create more income to the funnel into your hobby, the art of one-upmanship, etc. Could be presented in a "things NOT to do" / "don't be THAT guy" with several vignettes acted out. Dunno, the sarcastic humor that actually teaches something seems on brand for y'all.
