SEASON 2 EPISODE 25 KEEPING IT REAL FOR SENIORS. I debated whether or not to publish this one......but I decided to so others can judge for themselves if they are capable of doing this WALK/HIKE. I wish I had seen a Video showing the hike before I started. It was a very HOT day. The most difficult part I couldn't film as I was needing to use my hands to crab crawl across a lot of the HUGE BOULD...

MITCHELL ARTESIAN POOL and FREE RIVER CAMP AT TAMBO
Good on you for the hike. Definitely good shoes are needed and would have helped to avoid your fall. These locations are so incredible, its well worth the hike, but preparation and giving yourself the best chance to enjoy it by good shoes, hat etc are essential
I knew that but closed in shoes that day I couldn't wear as I had scraped the back of my heels the day before, I mistakenly didn't' realise it was going to be so difficult. I would have waited a few more days to try if I did. Plus I have had 2 knee replacements and so I was probably being over cautious which doesn't help as I didn't want to fall on my knees.....joys of getting old......your brain thinks you are younger than your body. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for filming. We missed it because it was closed when we’re were there in May. These tracks including Gibb River ones aren’t for the faint hearted are they. I woke up every morning thinking it might be the day I die 😂. I was slow but steady and the main thing is we did it! We def think Kaka - Do! Loved it there.
@@MelMel-yc4ch I was wishing I hadn't waited around for it to open.....I wanted to Canoe Katherine Gorge later and had to settle for just doing the boat cruise with heaps of other people as I still had a sore foot and neck. Never mind.....another time maybe
Enjoyed watching!!! Cant wait to visit tjose springs! Looked so beautiful
Glad you liked it.
Loved Litchfield NP 1993
some great places in there, thanks for watching.
I got to say, you need to change your swimming trunks as each time you climb out of the water I think your shorts have come half way down exposing butt crack 😃 Its just the skin colour of them when wet 😝. Different topic, what camera do you use when your zooming in, seems to be more than a phone?
I will buy him some new ones in Darwin lol. I only use my IPhone 13 for all my videos as I am no way a Professional. For our underwater stuff I use a GoPro 10.
Wow what a snake to come across! Felt like I was right there on the walk/swim with you 😊.
It definitely was huge......probably the biggest one I have seen in the wild.
We missed Mataranka when we did the top end. Thanks for the video 👍Now we want to go back and check it out!
We did Katherine Springs today and out of the 3 of them we loved Bitter Springs the most.
We stayed the Pinnacle Rock camp site (the first one) two years ago, there was no water in the creek bed then either. Isn't it a beautiful area, such a golden sunset from one of the hill tops.
I loved it there. Would have been nice to have been a few weeks earlier to see the water flowing. A local popped in and told us how it all looks when it really rains.
I think we must be following your footsteps when we head off in July. Also going to Mitchell to check out the Artesian Pools 😊 Hope we find that nice whipper snipped spot when we go 😃 What a great idea!
Might be a bit overgrown by then. We did 17 mths on the road without my little battery operated whipper snipper and this time I made sure we packed it. It’s quite lightweight. We loved Mitchell pools and the cafe was such good value and cheap.
Thanks for the Vlog. We are hoping to be at Lara in August this year, so I found your video interesting and enjoyable. Thumbs up 😃
Thank you, I am subscribed to your Channel and I have also been watching your latest travel videos. We are such a little Channel I am surprised you found us. Thanks for watching.
Just wondering where you got your induction cooker from? 🤣
A present from some lovely people
Love your new intro! When we were at Lara Wetlands everyone was sitting on those stools in the water 😊, and did you lift up the seats of the funny dunny? There’s only wood underneath so they can’t be used, maybe that’s why it’s funny…🤷♀️
Glad you like it.
We did end up sitting on the stools
The free camp at Tambo looks great 👍
I was and it was really nice to just sit and relax for a bit after trying to outrun the rain as the bumpy roads caused a little leak right over our bed. Hope its all fixed now , but we won't know until we get rain again lol.
@@twocoddiwompletravellers oh no that would be annoying. Hope it’s fixed
Looks lovely & relaxing 💛
It was. Calmed me down after I fell into the river lol
Some nice campgrounds there 😊
It’s been lovely.
Enjoy your trip!
We will, enjoy house living for a bit.
Hi, dear, I saw that your videos are adorable and very helpful. People are very fond of it. You have enough of the videos but your video is not getting views because of some problem with your Channel. Your SEO score is very poor (0% out of 100). SEO is the most important of any UA-cam Channel. You need to optimize your channel for better results. If the videos are full of SEO and update the videos then the views of the video and the channel subscribers will increase. If you want to Solve this problem and Best SEO Score to rank your video then I can do it. you can discuss with me.
What a beautiful quaint cafe and town. Thanks for sharing 👍
Your welcome......it is up for sale , has a very old house to go with it, if I was a bit younger I would have been very tempted to buy it.
Enjoyed your road trip. Nice to see the history of the area. New follower here from Scotland 👍
Thank you. Thank you for subscribing as well. I have subscribed to your channel too and will look forward to watching your videos. I am English originally and whilst back in England on a work holiday back in my younger days spent quite a fair bit of time in Scotland and loved it there.
The gardens look fantastic!
they were, pity we didn't get to see all of them, will have to go back again one day.
Where did you get the insulation please?
He got it from work but Larry said you can buy it from Clark Rubber.
@@twocoddiwompletravellers okay. Will look into that. Thanks for your reply.
Cool looking trail and location
It is a beautiful spot in Qld Australia
This is a great video!
thank you
This looks lovely Karen. Did you enjoy it?
It’s a great spot. One we need to return to as it was too cold to swim the day we were there and the Cafe was shut. We had intended to have lunch there.
Where is this place?
It is in Queensland Australia. East Coast between Bowen and Cardwell. Cardwell also has a unique swimming spot with brilliant blue water. It is called Cardwell Spa Pool.
Thank you
Two. you did pro editing-catch ya later-:)
thanks so much
Ponto Falls Reserve looks lovely, I will add it to the list!
It definitely was nice….. go in the week when it’s not School holidays or a weekend so that you can go up the end where it is much easier access for little ones. You will be handy to the Toilet and Dump Point then.
Loved this one, very helpful if you only have a short time on the Eyre 😊 (also loved the fall on the sand dunes 😂)
They were 3 great spots.
You had the perfect music, it's a very spiritual place (we could feel it) another spiritual place is just south of the Flinders Ranges Aboriginal Cave with rock paintings
I struggled for ages with the music so this was nice to hear. I don’t have a lot of choice in the Copyright free space and not sure that I want to spend lots of money just yet unless this Channel gets popular. We will definitely look out for the Aboriginal Cave, thanks for the heads up Lloyd.
Larry looked quite at home in the bath - he could have been a star😘
I will let him know…. I so wanted to get in as I was the Fan but being in a public place and with my knee I thought I may have had trouble getting out and didn’t want to embarrass myself….could of made a Funny Home Video I guess
Loved seeing your KI videos. The dolphin footage is very special😍xx
Thanks Lea, glad you enjoyed it.
