Przeglądałem polecane, a odkryłem złoto. Świetny poziom wykonania i prezencja. Jestem pod wrażeniem, oglądając jakiekolwiek amatorskie i bardziej profesjonalne filmy o różnych modelach samochodów mam wrażenie że ludzie na siłę się pchają przed kamerę nie mając charyzmy ani nic ciekawego do powiedzenia. A tu cała historia modelu opowiedziana w 6 minut.

When I was kid these 190sl was not really desirable, but the cost of a 300 sl tugged the 190 series up a bit.

It's standard 16 inch, tire is 205/60R16. The rim is probably 6.5J ;)

It was also available in the German Democratic Republic. The Problem was it was even smaller than the Trabant and spare parts were hard to get.

Which engines are reliable between the 230e, 260e, 300e, and 300e 24v on the W124?
My experience says all of them, especially 260 and 300 however you should be aware about K-jet manifold injections - these may be whimsical sometimes :D

I have a 1990 300e with the m103. Fantastic car for the age. Mine is a lower power m103 (original California car) but it still sits comfortably at 180kph on the highway. Mine does have a oil eating habit but apart from that it's great.

The rear deck scoop is for the discerning few, I find it visually distracting because of its black colour. Given the opportunity to own this beautiful R107 model, I think I'd opt for the 450SLC hardtop coupé.

Już są Fani Zagraniczni i to dużo! Mieszkam w uk i Tu zaczyna być Poszukiwany Malczan 😁 Sam Dla siebie też sprowadziłem sobie eleganta juz 2 lata jest w Uk ze mną i już ofert kupna miałem sporo! Nawet już zastanawiałem się nad ściąganiem do uk Maluchów ale Brexit Wszystko zepsuł i teraz się nie opłaca! Bo kupno malucha w polsce plus transport do uk który jest mega problemem! Bo mało kto z polski na pusto jedzie i zabierze nam samochód! Najwięcej ogłoszeń zawsze było że z uk zabiorą do polski, teraz jeszcze cło doszło które jest naliczane od wartości rynkowej pojazdu,plus rejestracja 🤦♂️ no nie opłaca sie! Ale jak ktoś mieszka za granicą gdzieś w Germańcach,włoszech lub innym kraju może spróbować szczęścia importować Maluchy tylko trzeba najpierw zapoznać się z rynkiem czy wogóle ktoś to w danym kraju sprzedaje za ile? I jakie są koszty rejestracji? Czy wogóle można zarejestrować takie auto bo co raz więcej krajów nie godzi się na rejestracje starszych aut z zagranicy bo eco zjeby biegają i płaczą!
The taillights are probably mostly for snow. The inner "wall surface" would almost always stay at least partly clear.

W123, W124, WW26 all have 1 major problem. Power Steering Box! No matter what you repair kit you use on it, it will never go back to its optimum...so the dreaded 'free play' on the steering is what you have to live with. To change to a NEW power Steering box will cost a bomb. W124 and W126 both have another major problem. FUEL DIVIDER! I will spare you the details on this agonising issue. Google and you will understand. These are among the reasons why I sold off all my Merc. Too much hassle.
None of those are any big issues in real life.
Don't say ugly in the title when mentioning the R107.

The w124 is no brick, it was sculpted on wind tunnel and forced competitors like BMW to up their game and get their aerodynamics right. Suspension design is brilliant. I daily drive a 250d ex-taxi, only God knows how many km, runs strong, keeps up with traffic, very good car. Maybe some time i will get myself a nicer one, with fewer km and more interesting engine.
