You're not watching the vids in any particular order, and you haven't gone back farther than God's Menu yet, so I don't think you're concerned about the storyline. But fwiw, the mv for "The View" is part of the secondary Mixtape storyline. If you ever decide you want to see any of their storyline stuff, the Mixtape one is the shortest and easiest to follow (the main Korean one AND the Japanese one both have parallel timelines within a multiverse, leaving possibly four different versions of SKZ to keep track of, and it's confusing af). The Mixtape video storyline is: - 0.5: Grow Up (an optional inclusion that can act as a prequel/setup for their relationship) - 1: On Track (the start of the fracturing of their relationship - 2: B Me unveil video (we never got the full mv, but the crucial stuff is in the unveil; this is the stage Lee Know refers to as their breakup) - 2.5: Ex (an optional inclusion that's more vaguely/arguably connected but shows the period of regret and emotional turmoil) - 3: OH (this one shows the passage of some time, both between their breakup and the start of the video, and between the freshness of the wound at the start of the video and the easing into nostalgia and wishing to forgive and reunite later in the vid) - 4: The View (their wish in "OH" came true, and they're reuniting; Lee Know calls it their reconciliation [although, being Lee Know, he proposed assassination instead]) If you do watch the sequence of the vids in this storyline, you'll see _many_ elements that carry through. Basketball, the cake, the "Dreams come true" quote, Chan's headphones, Felix's camera, and a million more prop-type details. You'll see how a wreck in B Me led to Lee Know wearing a cast in the early part of OH; that the tv screens in The View show images from On Track, B Me, and OH; that Chan's phone in OH spoils the release of The View and OH itself contains Easter eggs (like I.N calling Hyunjin at 3.25, aka SKZ's debut date); why it's significant that Hyunjin and Lee Know in particular are pictured happy together in The View; that the pictures Changbin is gazing at on his phone on OH were real ones taken by Hyunjin in the making film/behind-the-scenes film for B Me; why a pouch of chocolate milk makes I.N think of the others; even more ephemeral details like I.N still seeming to be Hyunjin's guardian in OH even though he's now separated. And there's even inclusions like Hyunjin's real-life art in OH and how centered that video is on him because it was an unannounced release to celebrate his return from his unwarranted hiatus (Stayville pretty much had a collective meltdown when they woke up to a surprise mv and then Hyunjin, who we'd been increasingly missing and worried about for four months, suddenly appeared on screen with no warning when JYPE had refused to even reassure us that he was ok or ever coming back). Anyway, I don't know if you have the slightest interest in storylines/lore, but since Mixtape is the only short, easy-to-follow one and you've already watched the latest entry (although there's a strong suspicion that when the Christmas mini album drops next week, "Winter Falls" might be a new addition), I figure it doesn't hurt to let you know, just in case.

I don't see any responses to your question about Han's eyepatch during this period, so I'll answer just in case. He had a stye for several weeks during the comeback, and the infection was large enough to visibly affect his eye. So for a lot of the stages, you'll see the eyepatch. He also has it in dance practice and even in part of the "Scars" mv.

Additions/clarifications as I watch (pt 1): - CB97: Chris Bang + 1997 (his birth year) = Chan SPEARB: _Chang_ means _spear_ + "B" from _Bin_ = Changbin J.One: _Han(a)_ is _one_ + "J" from _Jisung_ = Han Jisung = Han - This guide doesn't emphasize the importance of Chan picking the members. It's unheard of for that to happen. Companies make the groups, period. SKZ is the _only_ group in the entire industry that was made by the leader, not the company. A teenage trainee put together one of the most successful 4th-gen groups. - The show was them proving themselves ready to debut together, not them getting chosen for the team. So even their survival show was different than others'. - No, Chan isn't a Korean citizen. Korea now requires dual-citizen men to serve the mandatory military service if they want to keep dual citizenship. Chan and Felix both gave up their claims to Korean citizenship and are solely Australian citizens (and will thus not have to serve in the Korean military). Even before he was old enough to make the citizenship decision, Chan has always made it clear he identifies as Australian first and foremost (even just within the last couple months, he said, "I'm a foreigner.") - The language thing (about immigrant parents making sure their kids speak the parents' native language), unfortunately, isn't true, but I do see others have covered that in the comments, so I'll just nod thankfully at them for clarifying that. As a side note just because I think it's lovely: while Chan's Korean is nearly perfect now and Felix's is fluent and continually improving, they both have accents. Not on everything, but enough that they sometimes comment on it, the members occasionally tease them about it, and once in a while even we can hear Korean words coming out in an Aussie-tinged form. - As is the nature of guides, they quickly become outdated, and this one is no exception. Their number of albums/songs has increased significantly since this was made. - Most guides are misinformative regarding positions. This guide technically lists "roles" instead of "positions," so it's not entirely wrong, but it doesn't really factor in that people are conditioned to equate roles with positions because that's the way of kpop. So to be clear: there is no "main dancer" or "subrapper" or whatever anymore. We and they still use the terms as shorthand, but there are _officially_ no longer any set positions within SKZ except for leader. Since all eight members are singers, rappers, dancers, and visuals, they're not tied to positions and will move around in different songs to suit themselves and the needs of the piece. - That said, Lee Know has the unofficial official position of Dance Leader (not lead dancer). Part of the reason Chan chose him for the team was to take advantage of Lee Know's skills and experience and hand over responsibility for the team's dancing to him. It's not uncommon for us to see footage that includes him monitoring every member during practice or individually tutoring members when needed. (cont...)

"Felix" "Yongbok" (Korean name his grandfather gave him means lucky dragon or dragon scent) "Sunshine" He has more but these are the main 3 tho. the stray kids predebut show wasn't really like i-land, because in i-land they kind of compete against one another to secure a place in the group, but in stray kids' show they started as the debut line up and they had to work together because the group could lose a member, the show was about their bond and desire to debut as that full 9 member line up, and JYPE came up with the show because Chan picked the members and he wanted them to prove they were ready to debut

omg saaame i used to really not like rap until kpop and then even then i wouldnt love it until i discovered stray kids and 3racha and really liked the hiphop genre when mixed in their music ah sadly many immigrant kids who dont learn the language well so there are families like felix's who spoke english to him so he went to korea with zero korean skills. i think chan grew up speaking konglish so a mix and since he moved to korea when he was 13/14 and attended high school there he became very fluent in korea. and there's also kids like me in the majority where we grow up with parents who only speak their home language and we grow up speaking it to them but only able to speak at the level of an elementary student and have strong english accents so our parents may understand our needs but a native speaker would be incredibly confused. ooo there's also many kids who have parents who speak in their own language and they reply back in english so this results in them understanding the language but not being able to speak it at all stray kids have the most drastic on/off stage difference in image of a group that i know. they have such tough and confident songs and their offstage is so soft and affectionate. all of them are very cute especially their group bond, it's so pure and wholesome

I'm halfway through the video and I just wanted to say that I love how much attention you put in the reaction, I'm genuinely excited for your journey getting to know the kids. I also wanted to make a small recommendation to check another guide when you finish the skzvintage ones. This ones are amazing because they focus on their skills and the overall story but doesn't showcase a lot about their personalities. THere's a guide by TeaNoSuga Reacts called "A DETAILED & HELPFUL GUIDE TO STRAY KIDS 2021 EDITION" and I think it's an excellent one to get to know them a little bit more! Anyways, I really recommend watching it, even if you don't film a reaction (although I would love to see it) :3

The parts of the video where they are just screaming and chanting "asamalahkum (I'm sorry I don't know how to spell it)" is when SM was doing a concert in Dubai with a bunch of groups from the company and Leeteuk was going around interviewing different groups in their trailers, but when he got to Super Junior they turned up the volume, as they do. They also followed Leeteuk around as he went to the rest of the groups. You can see the interviews on the SM channel called "It Live." Worth a watch! As for a reaction, I'd love if you reacted to a set they did from SS6 "Shirt, RockStar, and Let's Dance." It's so them, I love it!

Super Junior going on shows to promote is the funniest and most chaotic super junior ever. The reason is because most of the group's members are Hosts of the tv shows so they let loose XD.

Stray Kids debuted in 2018 March. They originally debuted as 9 from a survival reality show. But one left in 2019 because of his personal reason. So they are 8 now. Omg thank you so much!!!! I think timing-wise you are fine for Suju because the comeback kept getting delayed as well... from Nov all the way to March 16th? I just want to say it's totally ok to laugh at Suju dramatics, they laugh at it themselves and the whole fandom is a lot more chill when it comes to making fun of them as long as it is done tastefully compared to more recent groups. I don't exactly remember why I suggested this song but SS7 is so amazing in so many different ways but most of all we hold it very dear because they are missing 2 main vocals out of 3 which means the other members especially the ones we hear less like Shindong, Eunhyuk Leeteuk and Heechul (though not here I guess) get so much time to sing and they are just so good at it! The original It's You is after the accident as well, it happened in 2006 so almost all their discography he is dancing in the back... later on he was more active in ballads so, for example, SS7 comeback is "Black Suit" which they promoted with "One More Chance" and he has a lot of parts in it. A great time zone to see more Heechul is actually SS6 because Yesung is in the army and most of his parts and adlibs in slower songs are done by Heechul (Walking you don't even need to do a reaction it's just so beautiful and needs to be heard more), as well as the comeback back then which was "This is Love/Evanesce" - these are two songs they promoted together, their storylines are connected. This Is Love is a dance song so Heechul has the rap part and he has the adlibs in Evanesce which is a ballad- Before I wrote all the above I actually wrote "I think I should suggest Devil...." so I'm going to stick with my suggestion so I guess if you want something funny and charismatic go for Devil if you want something romantic This is Love/Evanesce?
