The best things tellars do on their own right now is make paradise smasher unfortunately, our own boss monsters are obsolete...we need support badly 😢

I'd like to address my playstyle, the deck itself is obviously power crept and just like any deck that's power crept it needs support, it's unfortunate that it comes at expense of playing fiendsmith at the moment, but there goes alot into my reasoning to why play a specific meta engine. For one it needs to have amazing synergy with the deck and throughout my research fiendsmith fills those needs the best at the moment. And unlike centurion for example that's a well established deck on its own, fiendsmith is basically an engine rather than a standalone deck, that's why it supports tellars and not Vise versa. But yes I will be more than happy to provide a budget friendly version of this amazing archetype

You are already running with an old car, if you want to compete in a serious race, you have to get the strongest engine and the most efficient brakes. And that my friend, is why we play staples and fiendsmith. We love the archetype, but we have to be real about it and not put our heads under the sand pretending it doesn’t need help

@ yeah the only good card that archetype has is that walking Skill drain, negating it would have forced him to try and summon another at the least, or die trying

@ that's what I'm saying! Apparently if the card doesn't say "3" or "3+" it's not a legal target, what I was more surprised about tho was the fact that Master duel ruled it the same way, which was never the way it was ruled a month ago

@miguelito029 I can tell you that it's a completely legal move. You're meeting all the criteria

@ i agree, as long as 3 actual Tellar monsters are used for the summon of a monster asking for "2+" it 100% should be a legal target, I'm trying to find any form of ruling to rule it that way but as it stands they are only going based off Precedent and since there is no TCG ruling not OCG ruling they're going based off master duel, which again was not ruling it that way as of a month ago, they just randomly changed it with no notice or explanation

The horus deck is just a sub archetype to this one, so it is still relevant here

@satellarknight9476 so basically, if I replace the fiendsmith engine with the horus cards (and the cards like the zombie vampire that go with them), this build will still operate well? Also, if I run the horus engine, should I still run the collosus package or should switch it out for something else?

@TJenki correct you can still do the same thing, except unlike horus fiendsmith can easily get into tellars and vise versa

I wouldn't do adventure, since we depend on a normal summon

Try a horus build or you can do superheavy

@ hey it's never bad when misplays go unnoticed lol otherwise that would have sucked to miss game because of accidentally attaching to the wrong card, but tbh I just think he was super tilted because he lost to Tellars even through DDG 😂

If I used deneb and paiaradice to ip. I'd have to use i.p during my opponent turn by suing my armored monster as a material, I'd rather have him on board and if they somehow clean my field I'd have delteros float eff regardless

yeah that's pretty fair, I was thinking more the fact that tbh most people can't really do much under paradice anyway so IP would have been more of a back up plan just in case worst comes to worst and you have to use it, not something you really have to use

@TJenki it has unexplored potential,however the ryzeal deck is far better by itself and tellars/constellars hinder it...same goes the other way..the ryzeal lock prevents your tellars from Rank manipulation which means now you're forcing to change how a deck plays simply because you want to forcefeed a new archetype into it that does far better by itself.
