DIY Dresser Makeover With Slatted Wood Drawers
We are trying out number 2 eucalyptus now on our kitchen cabinets. Not sure if I like it. It might be the carpet and tile
thats beautiful !!!! what type of print are you using paper or canvas ? and what finish ? matte , gloss ? whats better for this results ?
I used paper. Matte is my favorite finish.
is there a way to tell if it isnt an oil painting? i think i bought a print with that texture😢
An oil painting will be made with actual oil paints but you can buy prints which are photocopies of oil paintings.
Fun Fact. Baby fawn is Edgecomb grey. Different line of BM paint.
Yes it is! Which name do you like better? Baby Fawn or Edgecomb Gray?
Ooh that's beautiful 😍 I'm not a pink person but that colour reminds me of vintage chalk paint.
It does!
I did this on foam board and found because the foam board has a thin layer of paper it shrunk during the drying procesw and bubbled the poster.
I also think it depends on the thickness of the print.👍🏼
Great idea! Thanks!
Just bought this color today. (Cashmere: Eggshell) 🎉
Great color!
Do you have a link to the final product? Want to see once dried and sanded
Sorry it was just a sample board.
Hi beautiful name or code color ❤
Sherwin Williams Creamy
What color is the cabinet?
Sherwin Williams Svelte Sage
SAW NOTHING !!! WHAT'S THE POINT OF THIS VIDEO 👎
I think you read the instructions manual wrong 🤣🤣
I'd like to know how the lamp shade held up? I'm in the process of making one myself and the only thing I question is the tape you chose. I know it's scotch permanent double-sided tape; but I would think humidity would effect the adhesion over time. I was considering a permanent clear mounting tape.
It’s held up well! No problems! I don’t live in an area with a lot of humidity. I think you could use either type of tape.
OOO what is that wallpaper?
You can find all of the links on my design boards on my website www.simpleediy.com!
Can c you share the wallpaper name

Beautiful!!
It’s so good!
I just tried this. It barely did anything??? I used an ecg economy gun
Is it a factory finish? Those are typically harder to remove.
@simpleediy unsure. It's from early 70s. It's got Tons of layers of paint. It's got cardboard underneath the paint on the sides
beautiful
It’s one of my favorites!
Love this combo, our walls are snowbound and I'm thinking of doing a bold trim and door color of the Shoji (bold because it's not bright white)
Love that combo!!!
Just what I was looking for. Thanks
Glad I could help
Would you do one color in the walls and the other on the trim ?
Yes! Or I would put Natural Linen in the walls and use Evegreen Fog for accents like furniture, cabinetry, or and accent wall.
How would combine these all together ?
There are a few options but I would use Maison Blanche for walls, Greek Villa for trim and Evergreen Fog for accent like furniture, cabinetry, or an accent wall.
@@simpleediy Thankyou !
So that's your hack?USE A HEAT GUN???😮really 😂😂😂😂
Yes!
Love it!
No no no just sand wet the sand paper that is all
I’ll try this next time.
The whole point of the chains is to hang pictures without putting holes in your walls...
Thank You! Im making a miniture painting as a fridge magnet with a vintage frame and wanted everything to look fancy
That's a great idea!
Thank you
You're welcome
Do you have any pictures of houses painted this color? Outside, which white for trim would you choose out if these two?
I don’t have any pictures but it would look amazing on an exterior. SW Pure White is a great option for trim.
Thank you! Looking for a door color. There is the complimentary colors on the color swatch, but was thinking of sw navy color also
#2 or #3. What brand/color?
BM Dusty Cornflower and BM Palladian Blue. They’re both amazing blue colors.
I’m seriously considering Grays Harbor. I have large windows and I think this deep jewel tone will make a statement with 12 foot ceilings
Yes!!! I agree!
Can you share where you had your Art printed at?
Sure! I used MPix. Highly recommend!
I would recommend you put the paint part a little higher on the shot cause it’s hard to see with the letters. Love your content .
Thanks for letting me know!😊👍🏼
Shade?
I made it!👍🏼😊
@@simpleediywhich rub n buff shade did you use
Thanks for sharing!
You bet!
I love the wall paper, do you happen to know where it's from?
Wallpaper Direct!
What color was used here? ❤
SW Iron Ore
1 😊
Please show us how it looks on the furniture.
it actually looks really bad, you can see clouds on the right that dont belong there, sorry...
Tip: Use a needle nose plier to hold the tiny nail.
Smart!
This is a great idea!
I think so too!
So pretty. All its missing is the ceiling being green as well. But that’s just my opinion.
I think if you say MODGE PODGE one more time I am going to scream….you say it over and over and it is”MOD” PODSGE. Look at your label. Other than that annoying thing this is a good video😅
😂😂😂
If you’re going to critique a video you might want to get your facts straight beforehand. The product is spelled and pronounced MOD PODGE. Not MOD PODSGE as you stated 😏
Seriously why are people like yourself @wandadunn1803 have to be so disrespectfully rude? UA-camr’s are creating content to help make our lives easier and comments like yours are totally uncalled for. Have some respect for god’s sake.
Our walls are Natural Linen. It works so well with the warm finishes of our 2008 house.
Love that color!!!
2
Great choice!!!
What color green is the board?
SW Homburg Gray
@@simpleediy thank you!
Thats fantastic! I love kristin Chenoweth too❤
👍🏼😊
Awesome!
Thanks for sharing. I prefer oil painting i/o a print. You can find really nice oil paintings for a similar budget. I have a replica of Van Gogh and every time I look at it, it creates a smile on my face. I sometimes still smell the painting (after more than 20 years) and the craftsmanship is part of the art of painting too for me.
What do you mean oil painting oil painting i/o a print, please? BTW, Van Gogh is my favorite too ; )
Sometimes one can fall in love or be inspired by a print. In that instance it most likely would be difficult to fine a painting that would be a good dupe unless you have the money to commission a likeness. That is exactly why I hunted for this DIY video. Thank you, Simplee DIY. Does Modge Podge yellow over time or is this not a concern?
@@dgomez8320there are other products that you can use that won’t yellow and are archival. Check out your art store in the acrylic gel medium area.
