Repotting A Root Bound Succulent
This Pachyphytum Oviferum variety was forgotten!!🫠
I’ll admit it..BUT that doesn’t mean this plant is doomed.
Succulents can recover and are super resilient to neglect, you should never throw away a Succulent plant unless it’s become mush or infested by disease.
Soooooo this plant was in this cup for over three years becoming root bound. It was so dried up that saving the roots was out of the question.
As a way to save it I cut all the dead dried up part of the stem. Leaving only the green living part of it.
It turned out GREAT!👍🏼
I did not water this pot since the plants were freshly cut and need to callous over.
The stems will grow new roots in about two weeks.
That is when I will deeply water this pot and keep it in a partly shaded location to keep those plump leaves nice and pink.
If you keep this type of plant in direct sun it will burn and turn yellow!🥺
Hope you learned from this video and think twice before throwing a root bound Succulent away!🤪

Trasplante de raíces unidas de suculentas
:

How To Divide Succulents

In this video I take apart a Haworthia cluster to make more future mothers for propagation. A very simple way to grow your collection. Out of this cluster I planted 17 individual plants. That’s a lot! So if you have a cluster to spare don’t be afraid, you won’t hurt the plant, they are a lot tougher than you think!💪🏼 . . Tips: Keep your new pups in a partly shaded location away from excessive s...
Planting Cactus🌵

Cactus Goodness🌵 . . Made a desert theme arrangement with variegated and crested plant thrillers! As you can see I love cacti, in my opinion they are sooooooo underrated in the plant world.🤗 I’ll place this pot in a sunny location and water it once a month. I Hope you enjoyed this short video*💚 . . Tips: when planting cacti use a pair of tongs. They make it very easy to dig and place your plant...

What Are the Best Pots For Succulents?
Just take off 1 1/2 inches only..you took off too many..
Pun emmpty pot under yr pot so that the pot standing on n not moving
Are those little rocks in the soil?
What does it look like now?
The best vid on kokadama you were taught very well by your mentor
Without any conversation on this process, it shouldn’t take this long to provide the information.
Beautiful! You do a great job!!😊
Soil recommendations?
Hens and chicks transplants
Awesome! 🥰
Your excitement and enthusiasm is beautiful❤
Pretty sure she says.. this lady does not know anything she's just telling you what she heard somewhere else she's not even sure how stupid
So you barely found all this s*** out and decided to make a video of it
Are you kidding me is this what. A cactus breakdown. Stupid video
Proper-gate?
Do we need to trim the roots?
How much for this plant with pot
I like terra cotta pots but in the sun in my area, they get burning hot. I can only use them in the shade.
Amazing
I love this big gorgeous plant! I only have one! I’m hesitant to try this because I’d hate to loose it! They’re hard to find in my area
how long until that stage?
soil mix recept?
How come with mine, all of its leaves became green? Do you keep yours in the shade?
Thank you so much
I love it when you put the plants in the faces it looks like hair it's so cute! If you haven't can you put a string of pearls, string of bananas, string of hearts, or th one that's really curly sorry I can't remember the name😅
Is that plastic 😮
This is so darn cute! And with the variety of colours it’s so lovely 😍
I've got glass containers. M afraid to break them if I drill
What about plastic pots
you may have overpotted that plant you should upgrade the por a inch a year or trim the roots just never do over half
does it produce uva rays? usually do these gooseneck lamps go below 400 nm. the lowest I can verify is 430 nm. will that damage your skin in the long run?
Beautiful...cactus .❤❤
Shouldn't you callus the cutting before planting into wet soil? You don't want the cut areas to rot.🙂🙂🌵🌵 Do you have an update of what it looks like today?
Could you tell me for how long you put them under the light? and how often? Please
how many days to water after repot...
Nah I can't imagine those are completely happy with just that🌱🤔 I have a few of them & I wouldn't dream of using just that 1 👀
I have a light similar to this and yeah I agree, I would never use it as the only light source for cacti and succulents, I only use mine to supplement extra light on cacti already on a bright windowcill.. I just use mine on days that are pretty overcast, using it like that works well for me, on already sunny days it doesn't come out at all
How much time it’s needed
if you use a terracotta pot, does it need a drainage hole at the bottom? or is there normally already one? I'm very new to this haha
It’s all good!! Clay pots normally come with a drainage hole. But if it doesn’t you should definitely drill a hole with a diamond drill bit. It is crucial you provide excellent drainage if you want to keep your succulents happy and healthy.
Muy bonita ❤!!!
Muchas gracias!!
I have one of these but the "pups" are growing out of the top -slightly on the sides. none on bottom like this
That’s cool!! Sounds like your cactus is going to get nice and tall* They grow in all sorts of wacky shapes😁
You did not say if after cutting the stems, they should be left to dry for few days before planting them. Can you clarify please? thenk you so much for a wonderful video.
I have the 4 headed one on this light and it’s not strong enough for succulents. It’s good for other houseplants that don’t need so much light like a monstera and Alocasia .
These are such favorites of mine❤ Love the planter!
I just needed a video that show me how to plug a light
😂😂😂
Wow very beautiful
Could you help a beginner here with my plants
Of course!! So how are your plants doing?
❤ thanks for the video!
Soooo pretty!!
Love this & your beautiful energy!!
Thank you💚
Hi what type of soil mix are you using?
Standard potting mix with a ton of perlite added.
@@SuccyCrafts thank you
