Assassin better be left alone for a long time after this because this is ridiculous.

While Im in love with this and can't wait for it as a Arakni fan so many people thing its going to be epic but they are also not realizing the unpredictability of it.

A 3 card 8 is pretty decent if the opponent also gave a card on defense that then gets shredded by Tarantula Toxin

I'm thinking an assassin action or maybe instant "mark target opponent. If they are royal your next attack gains stealth." Maybe they don't have to be royal and it just works, who knows

I prefer the dagger to have "if this hits then your next attack gains stealth" rather than the dagger having stealth.

Agreed about anticipating the Chaos dagger will have stealth, I also think it will have something to do with marking the opponent, and might give the next stealth attack go-again. The only thing I think that the chaos dagger won't have, is piercing.

Maybe a stretch, but Marionette’s hair looks a little too much like Uzuri’s. and the ability to ‘Switch’ between personas? Hmmmm

So here's an interesting point. Does anyone remember Tatnatula Toxin? One of the first cards revealed for the set? It's an assassin attack reaction. Chose One or Both: Target dagger attack gets +3 attack Target card defending an attack with stealth gets -3 block The implication being there will either be a dagger with stealth or a way to give a dagger stealth. That makes Black Widow kinda crazy, because the stealth attack could just be a dagger if that's the case.

the worst part about this set is that assassin will go from really expensive to stupidly expensive. Price is the only thing that has kept me out of the class.

Chaos will challenge you to find new lines within your deck and have potential spike turns, which is rare in assassin. Amazing!

Question is can you just play 1 agent of chaos or you need to play all 6

I love everything about this new Arakni. I am one of the few who love randomness in tcgs. That being said, I really hope Huntsman isn't dead. I love the contract play-style.

I believe they have evasion skills to make you hit the marked hero and change back. But I dont understand the Arakni, Slipped through the Cracks as The Marionette seems to be the main assassin for CC and they both have similar effects, maybe the Marionette can be transformed into by the old Arakni too?

Why do I have a feeling that they internally tried very hard to make huntsman viable, and then just said screw it let’s make two other adult araknis

I dont like the randomness of it if you have to have the full 6 chaos package. Variance is the death of good decks.

You can probably pick which versions to put at the start so you can cater the effects. You won’t have to use them all every game. I agree with another person, if you end the turn with an unmarked opponent, you go back to base, otherwise you switch again.

I think the agents should all have the clause that lets them go back to Marionette once the mark is gone, instead of switching between each other. The Marionette first effect is too powerful to only have for 1-2 turns in the game.

They could be tokens. Check the pre-release packs. Lots of tokens included.

Crazy guess...Nuu can play opponent's blue cards...so...what if each can play opponent's cards of a certain class? have no idea how that would work. and probably way off, but...who knows?

So far in my testing, Retrace isn't doing a ton except allowing us to get some sort of use out of dishonor, but I don't see where it helps solve the problem of Katsu. Imma keep testing and playing though!

Cards good its a nice flexible piece but it doesn't change much for the deck. Maybe if we got this and thoughtful gustwave i would be more excited.

I wonder if its not a good idea to go heavier into the Hundred Winds/Winds of Eternity line. naming retrace as Hundred Winds can put it back into your deck with Winds of Eternity. Personally I play 3 Winds of Eternity just for that neat trick.

So here's a couple of my favorite things with Retrace the Past! 1: You can cycle it back into your deck with Winds of Eternity if you do name it Hundred Winds. Still not it's most efficient use for a single turn, but it's the potential to get an extra use of the card. 2: If you have the really weird hands where you just have too many Gustwaves, you can name Retrace as Surging Strike! Having lines likes Descendant -> Retrace (named Surging Strike) -> Whelming/2nd Wind takes a very awkward hand and makes it semi-playable with on hit threats. I'm so excited to have this card in paper.

If I ever get more time I really want to play some assassin. Even if you’re not winning you’re having the most thematic experience while playing mind games with your opponent the entire game😅

If you named Hundred Winds and finished with Winds of Eternity you'd get to shuffle it back in your deck to use again. Potentially.

I want to see how you're supposed to play Verdence without CYB. Especially since she just got help. I don't have all the wizard Ms and I don't want to get stuff I don't need for her.

Can't really calculate summit as 6 for 6. The frost bite has hidden value. It makes it more likely than you get 2 cards from the opponent but with iron with 4/3 there more likely to just block with 1 card

For Hunted, if you're up for it, any and all lore would be neat in video form. Stuff from how the Emperor was assassinated, how Volcor reacted, where Fang & Cindra come from, etc.

What I would like to see as a Hunted video would be a "How to Defeat...Cindra/Fang/..." What are their weaknesses? How are they vulnerable and what would be good generic cards to sideboard against them? This could be a very broad topic but could help people like me who still want to play other heroes.

I know it's not probably going to be viable competitively, but there's even more shenanigans with Mask of Many Faces! Descendent -> Retrace the Past (naming it as Bonds) -> Dishonor (use Many Faces to name it as Surging) and suddenly the Dishonor on hit is online! Even if it doesn't make Katsu somewhat competitive, I'm really haply to see this card
