I have theory that ghoul stars are place that is mixed with deep warp like eye of terror is mixed with normal warp. Besides only ,,gods" in 40k that maaaaayby (still small yet it is possible) can reach deeper lvs of warp are Gork and Motk, i tgink, while chaos gods/parasites are so noticible and pose as strong and ultimate, arent even close to primodial strenght and essence of Gork and Mork, that are more simmilar to one creature of deep warp split in two personalities that are easier to define for normal warp or reality

You forgot chaos undivided demons. They have no patron deity. The chaos "gods" are relative newcomers to the warp. There are places in the warp where even they fear to tread. And many warp creatures that exist in the immaterium that have absolutely nothing at all to do with chaos. Still dark and evil, but work more on a freelance basis...

I like the idea about the Deep Warp from LordLucan's Shape of the Nightmare to come and Age of Dusk....the Deep Warp is where all things that could have been but never were land and slowly merge and decay. All timelines that were once possible but are no more sink down to the Deep Warp and give rise to truly alien abominations like the Nex....

I heard a metaphor about the warp. The warp is like a swimming pool. The chaos gods are people splashing around and making waves in the pool. They stay where they can touch the ground. They dont go to the deep end because you can't tread water forever.
