I bought a brand new tbs unify pro 32 hv it didn't work out of the box it gives me 4 feet of range only I bought it considering its a best vtx but my eachine tx08 works better . Tbs has gone down in quality

You got to get yourself a rework station. W whole lot of escs that could be easily repaired there. I buy mamba 50a 4in1s. Seem to work pretty well for me. But since I stick to that same esc I can fix them with my 40$ rework station. Needless to say the rework station paid for itself with just replacing 1 fet

This is indicative of a number of issues in one problem. Bench mark lab testing rarely reflects effective reality. Silicon gets hot with amperage. Period. If the installation doesn't allow for cooling and no heat sink is provided and the heat can't escape, it's going to burn. Nobody actually SAYS you need a heat sink but you do. Having said that, it's no mistake that certain manufactures will lie about the numbers. There is no 20% time and current tolerance. At all. You must anticipate their lack of scruples.

I know this is three years old. But I recently ordered two nano receivers, A hat and a shirt, and a few antenna's. Its been almost 4 1/2 months since I ordered these items. TBS can barely even let me know what is going on. For being a top dog in Fpv. This really makes me not want to ever order from them again. Miss seeing you making videos Sed Hendo.

I hear you I bought the holybro kukute f7 stack 6s and the flight controller wouldn't boot up and they replaced it then the esc poped right in my hand no props on running on betaflight in the motors tab number 4 motor side get fizzled out but you can't see anything wrong with the esc it was 65 amp metal fet esc it never got hot or anything 75 bucks but they are replacing it we will see.

My unify pro hv has Been kicking ass for 2 years. Never had to replace it. The pigtail went but that was an easy fix

I agree with you 100% . lots of 4 in 1 esc products that on the market have no quality control. I have three 4 in 1 in row to short out before getting to fly. Two Typhoon 32 v2,and one Spedix 1s30a .

I’ve had issues where solder so small you can’t see it with the naked eye gets in between terminals causing shorts...

I ordered rdq mach 3 and hope I can get a new build going because my tbs unify race hv I can't fly due to horrible video and blackouts and white flicker on 200mw I get maybe 250ft if lucky in open field. i can recommend a cheap excellent 4n1 esc the racer star anniversary 35amp it blheli s but it’s a airbot product but i would not run those on 6s trust me the cheap 4 n 1s i’ve had no luck unless you run a 1000uf 35 volt low esr i’m not saying you are not but with 6s always use a low esr ....bigger the fets the less heat ........but i. with you on spending you’re hard earned money and it frying out first flight...TRY THE NEW PYRO 32 4in 1 ........PYRO 32 handles 6s ......these are just my opinions i’m not a pro at anything i’m just going off my experience with these products i’ve learned if not using a capacitor with 6s you will blow shit

Same with me . ive picked up an evo the new one and not even a week of use it slowly degraded in video and now completely gone. I used my rapid fire module spectrum analyzer tool . to confirm the vtx out puts for a moment then gone off the grid , then a bunch of random spikes like its trying to come back but wont. Just another bogus vtx confirmed. Thank u for your info also .

Unifys are AMAAZZINGGG!!! For like a week..🤣 everyyy long range video you see they have unify 5g8 hv........ HOW...!! They suck so fucking bad! A few puff on 1st plug in... 3 here puff smoke when I come in and land, 2 like you said... just get staticky after 10 flights... THANK GOD you are making this video!! I was about to give up on fpv... thinking I just suck at..... having shit go bad on me...?! Frustrating😑

I too have a unify graveyard I’ve tried switching parts to get one these damn things to work, NO LUCK. I still love unify vtx’s though. Oh, you guys do treat your batteries n quads like a stepchild, I’m surprised more shit don’t fry! Lol , just saying, 😂🤣

It's funny to see the 4in1 ESCs in the video that say up to 6s and they don't work. Yet, the KISS 4in1 ESC is rated for up to 5s, but works on 6s (that's at your own risk at that point.)

Your enthusiasm for FPV is so cool....I have really enjoyed all your vids...Have an awesome 2019. One trick I have been doing on my rc cars...Rip open an old computer cord. There is usually a bundle of wires in there that are wrapped in this special tin foil wrap....It cuts down on the emf. I use that to wrap around my receiver...It makes a huge difference. Might be something to try...Peace out.
