I am decluttering my clothes I am busy for 2 weeks. I look what does fit my current body and what doesn't. And i bought some new things because my style is changing. But my basics like skirts and jeans and jackets are staying.

The last tip was the best… God has blessed me with a way out. I asked him and he acted on my finances. I’m debt free! God is good all the time.

This is so true. My husband and I always say "God will provide". And he does! The lord has brought us through every obstacle thus far. Trust in his plan.... stop fighting the current, just go with it. It will take you exactly where God wants you to be. ❤🙏

Aldi isn't cheaper. People have simply been led to believe it is. Plain and simple, Aldi is a store brand. Shop store brands at even the higher price grocery stores, and the price is comparable. In addition, name brands are the same price at Aldi as everywhere else. I would never purchase meat from anywhere except Jewel or a meat market. Always check dates, and Aldi usually has everything expiring sooner. If you ask them to bring out something with a better date, they usually won't.

Thank you so much for your message. It still amazes me how God works. We have been struggling financially for the last couple years after I quit my job to stay home with our 4 kids 9 and Under. We had planed everything out but did not see the inflation. It has killed us and then we found out this morning my husband is losing his job along with over 100 others. My husband and I are sick to our stomachs and devastated by the news. We are drowning in debt from bad choices and now no way to pay it. My best friend from childhood reminded me that God has this he I using this to kick our butt's in gear to change our bad habits and open new doors. Thank you for the verse I really needed to hear it.

My best money saver habit is to go to my favorite grocery only twice a month, or every two weeks. I make sure to prepare a thorough grocery list before I go, buying only what’s on my list, and I rarely need to return. In fact, I will not go back unless it’s an emergency or something totally expected comes up. Staying out of the store saves lots of cash! 🎀

I go to the food bank because they throw a lot of that stuff away. I would never purchase a Starbucks drink. I also reuse ziplock bags not just of money but because they are bad for the environment. I freeze dinner leftovers for lunches. I do go out to eat occasionally because you have to live your life but I don’t like to order appetizers and I drink water. However, I would never put a child in used clothing that’s a good way to ostracize your child and other kids will pick on them.

Unfortunately I don’t have the time or energy to cook from scratch but I do buy inexpensive frozen foods that can be cooked quickly. We tend to have to eat the same things a lot until Saturday and Sunday when I can actually get time to cook. We don’t have much of a yard so a garden is not feasible unless I invest money in tubs or things to grow in. Then I’d have to buy dirt and wait for things to grow. We only buy clearance clothes or thrift store items if we need anything. We are selling things but no one is really buying much because everyone is struggling. Getting my husband and son to not run the heat and A/C is virtually impossible. But I have stopped getting my hair cut and I dye it at home. Paper towels and trash bags come from work because they throw out a lot ! I absolutely depend on the Lord. Wonderful to hear that advice at the end.

We use solar lanterns for nighttime. Found these at Aldi, but Amazon had these too. Blackout curtains theatre grade really help block out the sun and heat.

I liked it when you read the scriptures. And yes, we do need to rely on God more. A lot of people don't realize it but they spend hundreds of dollars on tobacco, alcohol, drugs etc. I'm like...don't have heavy vices like that and cry poverty to me!! Don't do that!!

That's what i do. Cut my own hair, drive an old car, buy used stuff. I really don't buy any stuff. I have everything i need. I wash and reuse ziploc bags.
