    I’m looking into implants doing some research I’m in Missouri..looking for whoever does the zirconia..and I have periodontal disease. I guess they would have to address the gums first before the implants I’m assuming.?

    Couple of questions spring to mind: What if one is a bleeder (Warfarin)? What if one already has some implants? I'm assuming all teeth come out & implants go in with new teeth, but swelling from removal would not have gone down yet??

      Hi there, thanks for your questions. We ask patients that are on any blood thinning medication to stop taking it a few days before surgery however the time frame can differ from person to person, it's important to always speak with your anaesthetist and team who will be performing your surgery to confirm exact details of this. If patients already have implants we will likely take them out if they are going to impact where we need to put our dental implants. All of these will be done during your surgery ( removal of existing teeth and implants) while we will place the new implants at this time aswell. Patients will likely experience swelling from a few days up to a week after surgery which is completely normal and will go away as your recover. The final teeth are then placed onto the implants 24 hours later ( even if the patient is swollen we still put the teeth in). Hope this answers your questions, for more information you can view our website: www.allon4plus.com.au/

    I think you pay for the luxurious lives of these scammers, 5% material costs, 95% time costs to put the implants.. hourly wage of these scammers is at least 6000 euros..

I see and hear people complaining no money fixed income or want free help. Thank you for this video. I had two bridges by my 20’s and 4 by my 40’s with fillings and crowns throughout my mouth. I got Valplast partials and now every single tooth is infected up at the gums. My dentist wants me to go to oral surgeon, but her first to make dentures, then we will piece meal my implants when I can afford them. This will take years, I’m missing front teeth and I can’t take years to accomplish this. I’m 73 this month, and the cost is prohibitive for a retired schoolteacher, but I’m thinking of doing it. I want it done in one day.

    Thanks for this video. I had to go to my doctor because I had a build-up of plaque at the bottom. It was easy to remove; however, the build-up was due to the fact that I couldn't use the Oral-B floss to clean due to the flimsy tip. I just managed to clean the bottom; however, I'm still having issues with getting at the top. I guess that I may need to purchase another type of floss with a stiffer tip. I also have the floss threaders...and eventually, I'll get better at it I hope.

    • @allon4clinics
      @allon4clinics 4 місяці тому

      Hi there, it is normal for patients to take a bit of time to get use to the new cleaning methods, especially flossing. X-floss is recommended as it is much thicker and has the harder tip therefore is easier to thread through. This is floss that is designed to be used specifically for implants and bridges. The floss threader can definitely help as it helps to place the floss easier than it would with your hands. We would recommend just sticking with it, and it will eventually become like second nature to you! We hope this video can help you :)

    I’ve spent 45k on my teeth already, 2 implants, and a ton of crowns. I have 4 teeth on the bottom of my mouth that need replaced and I’m considering all on 4 since there’s several. Seems more cost effective at this point to get the whole arch.

    • @allon4clinics
      @allon4clinics 5 місяців тому

      Hi there, All On 4 Plus is a permanent solution and is usually a one time surgery ( considering you look after your implants) therefore, given your situation which means you wouldn't have to deal with the constant upkeep of new treatments, which sounds like it could be an option for you. It's important to get a consultation so that we can assess if this would be the right solution for your current dental situation. If you are interested in booking a consultation with us, you can fill out the form here: www.allon4plus.com.au/contact

    why can't a water flosser be used around zygomatic implants? these implants are so far back in my mouth floss will be impossible

    • @allon4clinics
      @allon4clinics 5 місяців тому

      We have found that if patients use water flossers around the zygoma implants, it can cause an ingress of bacteria to travel up the zygoma, which can cause infection. This shouldn't be an issue as all the implants align in the bridge, even if they are zygoma implants. As we mentioned, You can use a water flosser on the bottom and just use x-floss and interdental brushes on the top if you have had zygoma. We explain this more in our 'how to clean' video here: ua-cam.com/video/Drs0d6UO-T8/v-deo.html

    Can you use a toothpaste on a zirconia all in 4 denture?

    • @allon4clinics
      @allon4clinics 5 місяців тому

      Hi there, toothpaste is not needed for the actual cleaning of the teeth; using the x-floss, interdental brushes and waterpik ( note: don't use a waterpik on your top if you have had zygoma implants) is enough to keep your teeth and gums clean. However if you want to have the taste of toothpaste in your mouth ( some patients like to use toothpaste to have that clean, fresh feeling in their mouth) you can brush your teeth with toothpaste. HOWEVER you must make sure that it is a non-abrasive, non whitening/charcoal toothpaste. It must be a regular most basic toothpaste so that it does not ruin the prosthesis.

    How u goin to decide on the day of surgery whether or not you need to bone graft when you can do that on a 3-D scan?

    • @allon4clinics
      @allon4clinics 6 місяців тому

      Hi there, At the patients initial consultation ( before surgery is planned) we take a CBCT so that we can see the bone density/previous dental history ( if you have had any other implants/ dental work before etc) so that we can determine the best course of action for you. We will be able to tell immediately what type of implants you will need ( eg. standard or zygoma) or if bone grafting is potentially needed etc. Sometimes, we cannot determine if a patient will need bone grafting or it will be 50/50 until we get into surgery. We might have to make that decision on the spot, however we always make the patient aware before that this is a possibility and the potential added cost that they should be aware of. As much as we plan for the type of surgery we will do, there is always a possibility that we get into surgery and the bone quality is worse than we expected etc.

    How often are you getting people breaking teeth off of that?

    • @allon4clinics
      @allon4clinics 6 місяців тому

      Hi there, The Immediate Final Teeth are made out of acrylic, which is a strong material. When patients receive their Immediate Final Teeth, we make them aware that they must be on a soft diet for 4 months, which means they can't eat any sort of hard foods. Not only is this advised to help the healing of the implants but to help get patients used to the new biting force that they have. Breakages can occur if patients use their teeth in ways that we advise against, such as biting bottle caps, extremely hard foods that can them result in chipping or breakages. But these are usually uncommon, as people listen to the advice we give them. However the most common reason for breakages of because the patients biting force is too strong or they are heavy teeth grinders. In this case we would give the patient anti-clenching injections to see if this helps and if it does not, then the material of the teeth might have to be upgraded to zirconia, which is extremely durable and strong. But to answer your questions, breakages from bruxing ( teeth grinding) are relatively common in the first 6 months, but can be resolved with options that we have.

    The appearance of most (all?) artificial teeth is too opaque. Real teeth have a certain amount of translucency to at least their outer enamel layer. Artificial teeth can and should be manufactured to appear similarly, the compounds are available. 👍

      Hi there, At All On 4 Plus, each individual patient gets to customise their own teeth. Everyone has different opinions on what they want their teeth to look like. However when we create our teeth, we try to create teeth that look as natural as possible. For us, this includes making the bottom of each tooth slightly more transparent and making the middle of the tooth and more up towards to gums more opaque. We have created a video showing how we make our teeth if you are interested: ua-cam.com/video/n6ZPSmAwDHs/v-deo.html
