Goals for 2021
Hey Team!
We are back! Been a while... so and so ... enough excuses! To be fair I have been pretty busy. Nevertheless, 2021 is looking even busier, amongst many things the goals are:
1. MRCS Exam (Intercollegiate Degree) (Royal College of Surgeons) + Podcast (Trauma Talks)
2. PGCert in Surgery (Royal College of Surgeons)
3. Increase my physical and mental strength
Will I succeed? Who knows? And I guess the only way of finding out is by joining me on my journey!
Yours Truly,
André Fernandes

We had lots of positive feedback a...

Hello, I'm planning to attend Charles University next year, and it's tough for me to understand the differences between 1, 2 and 3rd faculties in Prague. Are the any one's? Thanks in advance
Hi Andrew, Unfortunately, I did not experience 1st 2nd or 3rd Faculties in Prague myself. They all fall under the same umbrella (Charles University) but there will be differences in departments, teachers, student communities etc. My advice would be to look for Facebook groups and student associations of all the faculties you are interested in and ask your questions directly to fellow students. General comments we overheard was that 2nd Faculty was very demanding.
@ well, thanks)
Hello, sir could you tell me what questions they have asked to you in entrance interview ?
which one is top most college in czech
What agents would you recommend for a U.K. student. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This video has been very informative
This exams are just for medicine's students or for all programs ?
Back in my day there were entrance exams for all programmes
I am second year dental student. I want to join dentistry program from 1st yr in czech. I don't have an A level. Is it essential?? Can I join foundation program in the university without A level ??
Hi Thazin, Unfortunately it's been a while since I left uni, plus I was not in the dental programme. My advice is you should probably reach out to the English studies office, draft an email and ask all your questions.
First . ♥️👍🙏
I miss your videossssss Dr wee need new videos
hahaha so vi isto agora!
Do we have medicine from Portugal in English language ....
Do we have medical program in Portugal in English language ....
Sempreeee a subiir!

2021 is going to be your year for sure!!
Portanto.... viram o vídeo juntos hahahaha
Luv dat production quality! Keep it up!!!
Hahaha.... obrigado primo. Montar o mic e eventualmente camera.... xD ainda falta mas mais que suficiente!
What are your goals for 2021? What will you do as soon as restrictions are lifted and the pandemic is "over"?
Nice video, but I wonder is many people failing the first year? or second? In Budapest for example alot of people are repating, because its so hard to pass.
Hey! One could extrapolate a few theories but a mixture of not knowing how to study properly, not studying enough and ahead and also some social and psychological aspects. It is not easy moving to a different country, culture and start whole new life.
Where is a Portuguese MD good in Europe? For example, if you go to school in Poland or Germany, you can go to many other countries to work as a doctor after graduation. Is graduating in PT only good for their own country instead of like say the United Nations?
Hey! I assume you meant European Union not United Nations as that is an NGO. Yes, most, if not all medical degrees in Portugal are accepted all over the European Union if not worldwide. Hope this helps
@ yes! That's what I meant, exactly. Thank you so much for answering my question!
That’s my cousin 💖💪🏽
Hahaha thanks Cutie 💥🕶
Determinado, lutador e nosso grande orgulho. Deus te proteja. M saudade👏👏🙅♂️
Obrigado
Mbbs administration prosses?
You didn't put the intuition prices for both EU and non EU students
Hi, my language learning skills aren't that great, but I heard that you need to learn the language to speak with patients in your last years of school. It it true, or do you think I could do fine with english the whole time?
Magdalena M. Hello Magdalena, Yes you need to learn Czech in order to communicate with patients, usually you have classes during the first 2 years of school but you can also sign in for extra electives throughout the clinical years. Cheers
WTF bro respond to my earlier comment please. It is important.
lukasz m Hello Lukasz M To be perfectly candid I do not appreciate the tone, set some time aside to rethink your attitude and professionalism. I am not aware of any rates in Masaryk’s University unfortunately. Advice: Reach out to the student forums of the above mentioned university as they will provide you with the most updated and appropriate advice. (e.g. Student association or freshers facebook groups) Kind regards
@ yes you go André!!!!!!!!
You mean only one third successfully completes med school in Pilsen? Who told you?
1st Year Medical Biochemistry Professor. And the maths checks with graduates from my year.
@ okay. Why do people leave? Because they do not pass exams? Or because they just did not study enough? Do you think anyone can make it?
Hi Hard questions... multifactorial and hard to say or even pin it down to one single factor. But I guess it all boils down to not studying enough or well I dare to say. It’s not about the quantity but quality, actually learning the content and making the best out of your time. I strongly believe that anyone who puts the effort in will make it. The very first thing you need to know before studying Medicine is learning HOW TO STUDY. What methods best suit you, how to test yourself etc etc Cheers
@ Thank you for quick response! Can you tell me your best advice or tipp? I am looking forward to studying but an approval rate of one third sounds crazy.
@ WTF wait a minute, u mean only 1/3 of those who commence the course actually finish? Could you find out if this is similar for Masaryk University?
I got accepted into first faculty(Charles),Masaryk University, and Palacky University i was considering joining first faculty, but i hear they have high attrition rate should i join them ?
What's a attrition rate?
Failure rate
chaitanya kapoor failure rate in not getting a residency or their degrees? Also, where do you find the attrition rate for a particular university from?
I have heard this also we need more info.
chaitanya kapoor does getting into Charles medicine require any payment for entrance according tony knowledge they are asking 70,000INR for entrance is it needed pls someone reply
Plz tell me fee structure and addmition process?
Varies according the country you are coming from Mr. I would advise reaching out to the English Office of the Faculty you are interested in. Fees have increased a long the years but around 10k Euros
@ is it a English medicine course there?
We missed you André!!!!!💛💛💛💛 keep up :)))
N1 Fan 🔥 Thanks for the support Cutie 😊
I am a second year at the First Faculty at Charles Uni. The entrance test consisted of Biology, Chemistry and physics (you could choose between math and physics before but when I passed it there was only physics). I got circa 80.5% score and was directly accepted. I still had to pass an interview, but that was a formality to make sure I spoke english properly. It was just a conversation about why i wanted to medicine etc. They don't really have a limit number for accepted students, you need to get around 80-85% of points (at least thats what they told us) To study for the test I redid the previous questions from previous exams a billion times :) I had a lot that were given to me for the entrance test for Masaryk Uni and it was about the same requirements knowledge-wise. BE CAREFUL WHICH COMPANY YOU GO THROUGH TO PASS THE EXAM! SOME HAVE EXTRA FEES THAT CAN BE ASTRONOMICAL, MAKE SURE YOU READ THE FINE PRINT! As for the studies themselves, MEDSOC the student association is there to help the english students and there are A LOT of notes to help you during your studies. Life is good in Prague, come join us :)
@Sylvain Is there a place to find previous exams, or do you need to know someone, who knows someone kind of thing?
Im thinking of going to med school, at charles university too. Do you have any socials I can contact you on?
Are lots of people failing out in your University? I have heard this is common in Czech Republic so this is off-putting.
lukasz m what really? where did you hear this from? I was thinking of going to czech for med school
could you tell me what type of questions are asked?
Sir my name bhagyatha iam from india any job vacancy pls helpme
Não desculpamos.... parabéns André 🥳🥳😊
Mau mau xD acabaram se as explicações se continuas a gozar...
is the test hard in Pragye? I heard only 25% can pass the test... is that true?
bare bra are u serious
bare bra how did they steal from you over 6 years? didnt you graduate?
bare bra oh no....i was gonna apply to charles’ first faculty but now im reconsidering
bare bra how many people were with you in 6th year
@@saherbhati Do not take only his opinion. If he failed a state exam that is his fault. Especially since you have 3 attempts at each exam so it sucks but its the not the university's fault if he failed. Also Sedmera is a sweetheart (the vicious vice dean he's talkin about).
is there a lot of swedes in pilsen ?
Roni Can Hi! Maybe around 20 throughout all years.
Please is the entrance exam very difficult? And what rate of acceptance
from what I remember it is quite low.. but you need to get 80% score at the entrance exam to get accepted. Thats how it was two years ago at least. you will find your info here : en.lf1.cuni.cz/how-to-prepare-for-entrance-exams
@@sylvain3421 are you still active? I got accepted into first faculty of medicine should I join?
chaitanya kapoor hello I have my exam on June 8 can you tell me how was your exam and are there any tips you can give me
@@Augustusassasino the exam of first faculty was easy... Biology was a bit confusing though I am wondering should I join first faculty They have a very high attrition rate My father wants me to join palacky
chaitanya kapoor well yes I have read that before they do have a high attrition rate but both universities are prestigious and are good so you might want to consider palacký
Dissection in Czech is it on cadavers ??
@ahmen mostafa yes of course. We do everything from scratch ourselves supervised by teachers
nice video man...btw just a quick question....do u think that starting to study medicine at 27 is a little bit too late? thanks 😊
Good question. The real exercise is thinking... when is it too late to chase your dream?
@ awesome reply
Do you have to take undergraduate classes then go to med school? I'm a bit confused with the situation after high school...pls someone help
Hey there Jovic! I guess it would depend on the country you are referring to... for example in Portugal there is no ' Pre Med' or anything like that... Reach out to the Embassy of the country your interested in and perhaps also the appointed Medical Board? They will definitely help you!
@bare bra maybe thay terminated your study, because thay realized, that you are too stupid for that. lol
can you please do a video on what happens after med school (im currently an international student in LF1 year 1) thank you so much.
Will do! Sorry for being to absent but a lot of changes happening! Excited to share everyting with you guys! Keep pushing!
@ Thank you so much. I'm happy for you, can't wait to hear all about it. :))
are u taking specialization now and where?
Hey there! Currently in the UK, General Surgery Department under the Foundation Programme (StandAlone).
did you have any difficulty in passing each year and did you have to repeat any year ?
Hey Anandhu! I would be lying if I didn't tell you that every year there was some sort of struggle. I didn't had to repeat any Academic Year, but there are definitely hard times. It is a demanding degree.
are there any Indians in Pilsen ?
Como foi adaptação a um novo país? Foi através da information planet que decidiste estudar na rep. checa? Não tinhas média para entrar em portugal?
