3:55 with a PD blower is perfect for racing, street drivability. If we ever buy another one I would probably go 3:73 for a slight advantage in racing. I have 3:55’s in my 97 cobra and I have a built motor 11.1 compression e85 and a 2.1 KB blower that was made for the 96-98 cobra specifically. Looking forward to see how the car drives and pulls with that rear gear

What’s your entire setup and boost man? I’m in the middle of doing the KB install on my car also and doing E85. My motor is built with 11.1 compression, I’ll be running 8# I’m just curious to know your build because I’m so excited and eager to guess my numbers

And do you regret the KB and how bad is the heat soak for you?

Heat soak is non existent I also fabbed up a remote bypass valve with the meth flowing after pull you can touch the blower inlet and case and it’s cold to the touch even frosts up the inlet

As a heads up on the cars if you end up liking them or wanting them, my particular car was originally owned by an elderly lady so hardly beat and then a ford die hard/engineer owned it and took great care of it and how you see it is how I bought it. These cars are very notorious for being unreliable + a bad owner doesn’t help these cars at all. I took tremendous care of the car and enjoyed driving slow and as a daily. She treated me great and I have no complaints from my personal car. If you want one in the future, ask people about the issues with the cars and search high and low for the lowest mileage/ taken care of car you can find.

@snakebitten1997 Just watched the video , that's awesome man . The dude definitely loved that car. It looks like an awesome and fun car to drive. I'm sure if I owned one, I would have beat the hell out of it . Pretty funny that svt decided to make a mark on that car . I agree with what he had to say about that car in the video , it's a fun and quirky car .

He was close to 330-350whp If I remember correctly at the time he had, ported heads, Cams, intake manifold, FBO, 3:73 gears. I dyno’d 283 whp & 264 wtq. My cobra only had a CAI, H pipe, UD pullies & 3:55 gears. Stock tune. Oh and had around 160K miles at the time. My cobra now has a built 11.1:1 Teksid, stock b head cams, slight valve job, FBO, E85, and a 2.1 KB Twin screw supercharger. Haven’t posted cause it’s been under the knife. I like how the guy never said which one was slow, they both were 😆.

Not really. Bolt ons and gears will have you keep up with pre-2018 Coyote cars. Speaking from experience.

Doing e85 and a possible custom Intercooler setup for this, just got the idea today and a couple connections to possibly make that a reality. So I was almost done putting it together now we’re waiting a bit more 😂😂

Please do we’ll stick with the way cooler cars that also sound 20x better
