I learned that Pharisees were ordinary men who devoted themselves to the study of the Word of YHWH. I thought the fact that they were a Pharisee meant that it was in their bloodline.

I landed on your video following my desire to learn who these Pharisees where since they are mentioned a lot in the Gospels. Surely I have not been disappointed at all and your work has been so descriptive and educative. My biggest insight was to learn that the Pharisees invented the oral laws trying to explain God's law for good courses but unfortunately ended up getting very far from God. It got me thinking a lot about our desire to know God and follow His commands as Christians, we should be so careful to avoid over righteousness and the mistakes of the Pharisees and try to modal the life and person of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. It is also they way Jesus preached, the red letter in the Gospel are Essene teachings. More known to the eastern ways, wich Jesus also studied and then brought over to the Christians belief. But sadly the Romans werent a fan of, so they tried to destroy that info reaching the masses. But i absolutely recommend people to read the Dead Sea Scrolls. Read up on Philo of Alexandria. I might add that the Pharisees not only added to the Word of God, they elevated their additions above the Word of God. The same thing is seen to this day in the halls of organized religions - Christianity, Judaism and Islam. Men of influence within these religious organizations make up their own interpretations of the Law of God and forbid others to use exercise their God-given conscience. As for popular support of the people in the days of the Messiah, the Pharisees were more feared than revered. The NT contains many references that highlight the great power the Pharisees had over the Judean people as well as the Roman governors, appointed by Rome. Christianity today, like the Pharisees of yesterday, ignore the more weighty commands of God. For example, Christians came to America and invaded, waged war and attempted genocide upon the native population of this land. Yet, to this day, these same Christians are not willing to repent and repair the damage done to these and many other peoples all over the world. The day of God's judgment has arrived upon America and all other kingdoms of the world, but due to the deception of Satan, the world is totally unaware of their danger. Finally, our loving Heavenly Father does promise to allow the Gentiles to get to know Him and His Holy Name - Jehovah. Shalom.

Anything that Bible does not cover historically in detail. What happened to people whose name are mentioned in the Bible and then we do not know much about them . How did they end their life in Christ ,were they martyrs . How did they finish the race .

I remember Dr. Mitchell talk about reading the Bible with feeling instead of as fast as possible or in a monotone voice. He reminded us that what we are reading was spoken by people and we should read it like they would've spoken it. Good ol' Dr. Mitchell.

I would've thought the first passage regarding other gods would have been Genesis, when it says god says they man has became like us. There also used to be the gnostic Christianity that I've been learning a bit more about, where there are other beings that a considered to be "gods." That the creator of the universe and the creator of the planets aren't the same. There were also some early Christians that didn't think that the god of the old testament was the same spiritual being of the new testament.

Dislike is a misleading word. Hate is more accurate. They havent gone anywhere. They call themselves rabbbis today, they changed their costumes and they still hate Jesus just as much today as they did 2000 years ago. The Talmud has poisened the hearts and minds of the Jewish people. They are openly commiting genocide. How is it Gods people are so blind they do not recognize the evil they are comitting?
