Directed by Bryan Forbes. As far as I'm aware, this is the full documentary. IMDB says the full length is 63 minutes, but I have yet to see a copy surface with those extra 3 minutes and 40 seconds. TVDB also says this do...

30+ MINUTES of early Elton John Interviews (Unintentional ASMR Soft Spoken)

Made mostly for me because I find his speaking voice calming and relaxing ( it makes me sleepy) but people on Elton John stan twt seem interested too so I'm uploading it here. Some interviews have the host speaking cut out if their voice was too loud lol. Sources in order of appearance: Top Of The Pops 247 (1969) 0:00 Live at the BBC (1970) 1:08 Chicago Radio Interview (1970) 2:36 Mr Superfunk ...

Thanks Elton, for letting me use your melody! The copyright application was approved for my parody of "Harmony", now called "Sovereignty", a perfect theme song for humankind here on Planet Earth! #eltonjohn #sovereignty #harmony # gusgustafson #parodies ua-cam.com/video/MyMJGlhKwU4/v-deo.htmlsi=B3QUMrh41S3lG7ts
Love this song and glad to see the vintage video!!!! ❤
Billie Jean King!
To me, this is Elton's best song of them all.
So many rare footages
People were so fab back in 1973.
Favorite song on the album. I'll never understand why it wasn't released as a single here in the US>
Excellent lyrics I think of my daughter always when hearing his music 🎉
Thanks for sharing this, always loved The Fox album.
In a very cold world, this song has such warmth, heart and raw honesty. I’ve listened to it for more years than I’d want to admit. It is definitely a song for the only girl who ever married me. I miss her more than I can say. Elton’s music is often magical.
The melody when he sings “…we’re pretty good company” is magic!

adorable - born entertainer. 😊
Total goosebumps tune x
😊GVB ❤🎉
Do you tell what year this came out?!
In 1982
The girl at 47 has a joker shirt on.
thoughts on the new visions music videos the ej channel dropped?
Bad. They’re just poorly done AI upscales, not actual remasters. The visuals look super muddy.
Oh man, that was great! I've been hearing that song since getting the DJM demos 35 years ago. He sounds just like the original. I wish he kept it going. It's not dreadful at all.
Love this song, love Elton John!!!!
Incredible footage of this amazing band
I don't remember ever seeing this VHS in stores and I was working in a record store at this time too.
The amount of, "music home videos", released in the first twenty years is beyond belief and astounding. 20 thousand is my understanding. It's very clear everyone everywhere were definitely not getting everything. Absolutely stunning and unreal and now so few people remember, care, or even think much about them now. It's really scary but along with that is the horror of wondering what else people won't care about in the future and often near future. I'm not kidding. I have so much to say.
Thank you very much for posting this. I remember seeing it on US TV around the time it was released
Ear phones required for enhanced pleasure
His voice was magic in the 70's!
So young &innocent. A beautiful man, then successful. Hope he enjoys the fruits of his labor. ❤❤❤
This was the first album I bought after I bought my first record player. The music is still as great today as it was then.
11:31 his singing of "Rocket Man" is absolutely gorgeous, too bad the tape quality isn't pristine. Amazing footage.
Hello, baby, hello Haven't seen your face for a while Have you quit doing time for me? Or are you still the same spoiled child? Hello, I said hello Is this the only place you thought to go? Am I the only man you ever had? Or am I just the last surviving friend that you know? Harmony and me We're pretty good company Looking for an island In our boat upon the sea Harmony, gee I really love you and I want to love you forever And dream of never, never, never leaving Harmony Hello, baby, hello Open up your heart and let your feelings flow You're not unlucky knowing me Keeping the speed real slow In any case I set my own pace By stealing the show, say hello, hello, ah Harmony and me We're pretty good company Looking for an island In our boat upon the sea Harmony, gee I really love you and I want to love you forever And dream of never, never, never leaving Harmony Never leaving Harmony Harmony Harmony Harmony Harmony Harmony Harmony Harmony Ha-
I love watching this anytime! Brings me back to a certain time in my life when all I lived for was music! Elton John was at the center of my life. David Bowie, Mott the Hoople, Badfinger and alot of other artists were constantly on my turntable! This is the official release of from Elton John's Management team that coinsided with the 40th Anniversary of the album "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. I have my own copy from Canada that is 22 minutes longer. When I first saw this 1973 Bryan Forbes film on late night TV, I remember waking up my brother to watch it together. It's nice that Elton John and his team took the time to find a new print to release on DVD. The only problem I have is that is only half of the original length of the video. When I watched it with my brother, it was an hour & 28 minutes. The Canadian version I have is 1 hour and 7 minutes. Certainly if I can come up with a version of this fantastic documentary that's 22 minutes longer than the re-release of the official film.... Elton John's management could come up with the entire program for the fans! Never the less, this is a really fun documentary to watch! Makes you realize how fantastic Elton John and Bernie Taupin are as songwriters! With Davey Johnstone, Dee Murray and Nigel Olsson as his superb band and Gus Dudgeon at boards producing, Elton John couldn't miss!
From all the epic songs on this double album, this is my favorite!!!
Likewise… :)
I had this on laser disc. Remember those?
Money cars airplanes drugs IM JEALOUS 😉😆😅😅😄😄🤣🤣😂😁😁😂😂😂😎forgot WOMAN
Maaaaaan what a video!!! Seeing young Elton hang out with Stevie Wonder and John Lennon, little did he know that he'd one day surpass BOTH in terms of Billboard hits and albums sold!!!
Never HEAR this ever on radio a real good underrated SONG
A soothing and intelligent speaking voice, and of course a great singing voice.
Today i met a woman name harmony, and i told her about this song ,so now this song has been suck in my head all day love it!❤😂
This takes me back to before elementary school. My Momma listened to this all of the time.💕
This song is gold. Elton should not put himself down. Wish I had that Bluesology repressed single from RSD.
Back when the world made more sense, it's an epic tune.
🙏 to that😢
Lol back when the WORLD MADE SENSE I second that 😮
the human world never made sense and never will.
Wow, these old clips are incredible.
✨🙏🏼✨
OMG this is unbelievable. His voice was a gift from God. ❤
The music from THE FOX still sounds quite good today. It was an album, however, that didn't feel "contemporary" or like the exciting new thing in contrast to what was happening in music at the time (1981). This doesn't lessen its actual quality but helps explain why is charted and sold poorly. Odd how the VISIONS video came out well after THE FOX had come & gone on the charts. Thanks for posting this video collection!
That was very interesting ❤
thanks for posting this, nice footage and the song is a favorite of mine. ❤
Beautiful antique glimpse of an exceptional set of musicians!
Thank you Jeff, I love you forever, you are my baabbbyyy
Looks like Elton bagged him a winner
