The Gospel of justification by God's sovereign and amazing grace alone through saving faith alone because of the finished work of Christ alone is a once-for-all legal declaration whereby sinners are declared perfectly righteous in God's holy sight forever, not by trusting in our own good works, in our obedience to God's law, or in our performance, but by trusting in the finished work of the sinless life, atoning death, and victorious resurrection of Christ alone for our salvation. As the result, we are rescued from the just wrath and eternal punishment of God, no longer in condemnation for all of our sins, reconciled to God forever, and granted the unmerited and undeserved gift of eternal life.
